This is a well compiled list of all the players the Lakers have worked out or interviewed so far.

Good list. Sounds like they know it's Ingram. Although Jaylen Brown was high on that list. Never knew they worked him out.

And what about Simmons? Is he working out with us too? He might think he is too good to attend these private workouts...

I'm sure the agents is just playing it smart. He won't work out because he's the perceived #1 and he can only harm his case. He's already stated he won't try to Kobe his way to the Lakers, so at this point he wants that money and esteem of being #1 and the best shot at that is not bothering to work out, risk injury, show any weakness scouts haven't already harped on etc...

From what i've heard from inside the workout, portions of the staff were not impressed with his range and skills. :/

sent you pm.

I am still hoping he is the pick, but its not a guarantee. Theyre planning to bring in J. Murray for a workout as well....

i seriously doubt a team judges something like a players range from a single unopposed workout when there's mountains of stats and video to base your judgment on.

Bobby marks puts it nicely:

Teams that put a lot of stock into the draft workout are often the ones that miss out on top prospects in the draft. It’s just not as important as the other parts of the evaluation process.
The workout is more for the benefit of the coaching staff.

Players will go through a one-hour, practice-like setting that will combine agility, shell drills, shooting and three-on-three. The true test of the prospect is not how skilled they are; it's their conditioning. Unlike a practice setting where there are 15 players, the draft workout is built on repetition with less rest.

By mid-June, the prospects’ on-court performance could suffer from the effects of fatigue and the travel schedule.

The key takeaways are if a player is coachable and can pick up terminology.
