He was healthy enough to still play on an all star level, but there is a significant gap between what he was and what he has been. Significant. Not conceding that is ridiculously disingenuous. This may have been everyone's best chance to beat Golden State in the next couple years, and it didn't get done. Anyone is "beatable", but if they're healthy they're just starting their dynastic run. Lol Memphis
Lebron was hurt all post season last year and not once was it used as an excuse. Curry is out there an he just scored 38 there's no excuses. It's just another double standard for curry people are using to prop him up.
I'm as big a Lebron fan as anyone on this board, I didn't hate him 3 years ago like you likely did, so save me the false equivalencies please. It's a nonsensical comparison. He just scored 38 so he can't be hurt? That's right up there with people saying he can't be hurt because he said "I'm back!" against Portland in OT in the heat of the moment when feeling himself after a big flurry. I guess when Kevin Garnett yelled "anything is possible" it would have been perfectly normal for bats to take flight directly out of his butthole right there on the spot, because anything is possible.
If people can't see that Steph is compromised they are in denial. And there is no need to make "excuses" for a team who just won the title. There's a difference between excuses and explanations, and the explanation for his decline in this playoff run is that he was clearly playing injured.
