If the ball doesn't touch the rim and it's all net, should it be worth an extra 2 points?

If we want games to be 5 hours and have reviews every 30 seconds, then sure!

Way to show your age. I used to think like this, when I was 10.

I'm surprised no one has commented asking if we can bring our pets to the game. Where are the old timers at???

Quite the contrary. I am all for a rule that adds an extra point for every object the ball touches or bounces off before going into the hoop.

I.e., you shoot the ball against the floor, touches the glass, the rim and the glass again: 6 points for you.

I actually like this idea! I think would be more exciting and open the game up for comebacks etc... Plus swishes are cool and should be rewarded.

So basically the NBA would turn into a game of HORSE?

So I'd assume bouncing a shot in is worth double points?

Each team should get to chose a 2 minute period each game where all the points they score are counted double.

Should a team get an extra point if the PG doesn't carry the ball?
How about an extra point for not flopping?
How about an extra point for not traveling before an epic dunk?

Why? So that we can waste time disputing and reviewing whether a shot hit the rim or not?
