Pretty excited about next year

Post#1 » by Canadafan » Sun Jun 12, 2016 5:27 pm

We should be top 4 in the East with home court in the 1st round.
Play all 5 starters 30min/game.
Baynes 18minutes
Our new backup PF 18minutes(Taj Gibson, Josh McRoberts?)
Stanley 18 at SF 9 at SG
Our new backup 3rd guard 18 at PG 9 at SG(Linsanity?)
I'm Pumped guys. With our top 6 returning players there is gonna be a ton of improvement. Getting a taste of the playoffs made a huge difference for these guys. They are going to want to come back strong!

I love how you're making grand assumptions when you don't even know who our backup PG and PF will be.

Kind of a **** post. But, yes, we're all pretty excited for next year. Hopefully our key players take a step forward together. And who knows? Maybe Pistons brass will pull off another steal from a desperate team this summer?

It's basically the off-season Heisenberg, it's all going to be s*** posts from here on out.

From posts such as how many diet cokes does SVG go through each practice to trade KCP/Harris/future pick for literally this or that.

All s*** posts.

That's fair. I wasn't trying to berate Candafan for his post. He's generally a quality poster.

It's the dog days. We're waiting for the finals to wrap up, give Steph another trophy, so we can all focus on the off-season.

I think Johnson should start and Morris should become a super-sub. Beyond that i know nothing until the draft/free agency starts. Oh and no more Steve Blake as our backup PG

If Steve Blake is our backup point guard next year, i will protest the 2016/17 Pistons

I'm not just excited about next year, I'm excited about the next month. We get the draft which will not be as exciting as previous years, but we should still be able to get a future rotation player with #18. And then a lot of trades around the draft. And then, most importantly, is free agency. Not only is our quest for a new backup PF and PG going to happen, but the craziness of the new salary cap is going to make this very interesting to watch. As always, in SVG/Bowers we trust, so I'm not worried, just excited to watch it play out.

I mean even with Steve Blake and Anthony Tolliver back next year, we should improve by 3 or 4 wins, right? :D

That's my favorite thing about this team... I trust whatever SVG/Bowers decides to do.
