Knight and the #13 for Okafor. I am taking back the #4 since you guys are struggling (I know, rumors. I'm pretending they are true.) to make a deal.

whoaaa now, original hypothetical was already a stretch, this is a no go off the rip lol. Borderline starter & 13 is what I'm seeing for a potential franchise big imo, not my decision but if it were, no disrespect ofc but I'd completely disregard this proposal .

Wouldn't surprise me if this is the best we can get value-wise.

If Bryan Colangelo sells Okafor for #13 and Knight he won't be able to show his face in the city.

With Phoenix, the only possible deals are:

1) Okafor for #4 and Knight/Bledsoe, or
2) Okafor for #4 and #13, with perhaps a minor asset going back to Phoenix like a late 1st rounder, Nik Stauskas, or Hollis Thompson

Nah, using the 4 on one of Chriss Dunn Murray Brown or Bender. Preferably Bender. I love Okafor but he isn't a two-way player and could kill us like Love is killing Cleveland on . Love has really hurt Okafor's value.

So you understand :') I appreciate he who can recognize & appreciate ours! You guys have a bunch of young nice pieces as well in Phoenix . Now Booker though  how do you feel about him? How would you feel if he were (a/the) piece requested in a potential Oak deal? Not sure if this hypothetical has been asked or thought of by ya.

You don't know what Okafor's value is around the league. Neither do I.

I totally agree. If they trade Okafor (they won't) for just the number 3, I think it would be foolish. I would give you Knight and the #4. Okey is proven. I'll chalk those off-court transgression as immaturity. That shouldn't effect his value.

Not just Okafor, any one way player with suspect defense. Teams can't just say, well his offense is great anymore.

Jahs played one year and his defense can't improve bc he isn't locking down 3pt shooters? His defense is already way better than love (not that that's an accomplishment)....these offers are what hinkie used to do to other teams. We really shouldn't trade Jahlil until we see the Frontcourt play, this year is about development anyways. Sending him away for a bag of funyons to Boston is idiotic.

It's absolutely fine if you prefer one of those prospects above Okafor.
But who of them do you see as a two-way player after one year in the NBA?

Chriss' and Murray's defense is even more suspicious than Okafor's and Dunn and Brown offense...well simply aren't in the same camp of Jah.
You can have some hopes for Bender, but nothing is guarantee.

Get a hold of yourself. I agree with the point that Okafor is being undervalued because the team was so bad last year, but there's no need to push it to an absurd extreme. Lots of people want to find all sorts of reasons to discredit him or dismiss him, but he's a potentially elite offensive weapon. But KAT is obviously a much better prospect than Okafor, and refusing to acknowledge that will immediately lose you 100% of your credibility.
Can you read? Show me where I said Okafor is a better prospect than Towns. Go on and show me. Make sure you understand what is being said before commenting.

The point is obvious: if KAT were on our team last year, he still would've put up brilliant numbers and been an obviously better player.

KAT is great. Only player I saw take him apart was Jah, when they met last fall. Jah got him in foul trouble, beat on the rest of the Wolves, single handed and then got benched. head to head against Cousins was more of a draw. Jah flashed an incredible ceiling. (as opposed to KAT's considerable consistency.) i prefer we let him work with Pops next month and play him with Embiid some, before running him out of town.

Wrong. His numbers would look a lot worse if he was with us last year playing with 2nd rounders, UDFA's, and D-leaguers, so people wouldn't be as high on him.

Conversely Okafor would have looked a lot better if he was on Minnesota playing with legitimate NBA talent around him.

I don't want to drag this out but it's hard to believe you watched KAT if you're honestly saying that. He was so good and easily could've put up more pts if he had more touches. Sometimes a nice Rubio pass would get him an easy shot but he was money as a post-up guy, a perimeter driver, and a shooter this year. I like Okafor and I pray we don't trade him too soon for a lesser talent, but KAT is a better player and would've been better on any team last year.

This is just false. Kat would not have had the season he did if he were on this team.

1. No Andrew Wiggins to score 20ppg and draw defensive attention.
2. No 8 apg PG in Rubio to get him the ball in his spots.
2. He would've been doubled constantly, just like Jah.
3. He wouldn't have had KG as a mentor.
4. He would've been playing with Dleague players.
5. His usage would've been higher.

When we got ISH Smith, who is nowhere close to being the player Wiggins or Rubio are, Jahlil Okafor actually paced with KAT's stats.

Dunn is the two-way. Brown (needs offense and defense but has potential for two-way) Chriss (same as Brown, with a little more sound offense because he can shoot) Bender (spot up shooter for 3 and some Boris Diawesqe). Murray pure offense will make up for his defense more than Okafor (I think). But none are guaranteed.

Okafor was commanding a double team in his first NBA game. And Murray will be better on offense?
