NBA should get rid of overtimes and just have a game of HORSE to decide the winner

So if you swish a 3, it's worth 5
Swish a 2 it's worth 4
A free throw is now worth 3 if it's all net
And-one if it swishes is now worth 4 or 5(4 point play)+ 3 if you swish the free throw. Teams would literally have a chance at coming back if they are down by 8 under 30 seconds making the game more interesting.
This revolutionizes the game. Players would literally focus on their shots instead of chucking them.

NBA should think about this. Thoughts?

If they do this and teams utterly focus on this with some degree of effectiveness, this will mean that considerably less possessions end with actual made baskets. I don't see why the NBA would want this given that the 3-point shot has already hurt this ratio.

If there's one rule I would like to change, it would be getting rid of the defensive 3 seconds. Like Steve Kerr once said on Open Court a few years ago - I would allow a team to play any kind of defense they want. You want your bigs to camp in the paint? Fine, the other team will take advantage of that by getting wide open jumpers.

I absolutely hated the illegal defense rule back in the day. Whenever I watch 80s/90s NBA games, I always feel like that rule takes some enjoyment away from it.

Sounds like a 12 year old trying to figure out how to get more points than his friends. "OOOO I shwished it! That should be more points" But his friend would be like "na ah its harder to have it hit off the backboard!" then they argue for the next 10 minutes until the initial kid takes his ball home.
