Buddy signed with Rob Pelinka, kobes old agent. Probably why Kobe was attending his college games. As a recruitment tool for Rob. Really can't see any other reason.

He's working out with him as well according to Hield's interview with Rick Fox. Which I find interesting.

For what it's worth, I'd venture to say that Hield's work ethic is significantly ahead of probably everyone in this draft class.

You mean MJ the GM/owner? Or the guy who was passed over in the draft MJ?

Posters on this board make me laugh. Why would you smoke screen with a top 2 pick on a 2 man draft? The pick is Ingram and if the 76ers select Ingram you thank God for their stupidity, select Simmons and laugh all the way to the bank.

Sure looks to me that the Lakers' front office is really trying hard to find an Ingram alternative. I am waiting for the news that Bender is being scheduled in for a workout.

Since when is having as much information as possible before making a gigantic decision somehow a bad thing? I want them to work out every player they possibly could to make the most informed decision.

Sounds to me like you’re a Celtics fan hoping Ingram falls past #2. In reality, I have yet to see a single credible report that indicates the Lakers are leaning away from him. Everything I have seen so far seems to me like pure speculation by writers who are trying to get clicks. None of the articles even claim to have knowledge from people inside the Laker organization.

I see the workouts of all these other players as nothing more than due diligence. The Sixers are doing it too (they worked out Jaylen Brown today). Does anyone really think the Lakers or Sixers working out guys like Skal Labissiere and Jaylen Brown with the intentions of using the #1/#2 pick on them?

Would love to find a trade for Lou Williams with a team picking in the 20s.

If we deal into the 20's i want Denzel Valentine. Jack of all trades type of guy is what we need (well, what Walton needs, and he is an izzo guy also and probably not a complete idiot either).

Brandon Ingram and Denzel Valentine out of the draft is an A+ in my opinion (also if we buy the 34th or 28th off of Sarver and get Thon Maker even better).

Jonathan givony kinda went in on Ben Simmons on the max and Marcellus show. He's not very happy on Ben pretty much not wanting to do anything before getting drafted.

I wonder why there's so much outrage with Simmons when Towns did the same thing last year. Its upto Ingram and the rest of the field to catch up to Simmons for the #1 pick, otherwise Simmons is very happy with the status quo.

I'm not happy with him either. wtf is he doing, he didn't want to go to the olympics because of the nba season upcoming then what does he do, he doesn't go on to do any workouts. Even worse since people are questioning his ethic. Unless this is some scheme to get him to Boston he is going to lose value fast.

Very much this. I'd LOVE to have Buddy Hield in our line up, but I'm not giving up any of Russell, Randle, or Ingram to do so.
