I really liked the Arizona Republic site when it was originally housed on AOL. In that same area there was a media board which included KTAR sports which had the original Cards Corner and the Sun Devil forum. Anyway the Suns side kind of died out so I started posting in the part of AOL where we first crossed paths but when Az Republic finally started up their own site (AZCentral) separate from AOL I was excited to give it a try. I joined right away but it didn't take long for Cubby and that LA fan plus a few others to drive most of the sane people away. IIRC .net came out of that group didn't they?

I came to .net after ASFN, but it was definitely created as the direct result of Cubby. Strangely enough he actually resurfaced on .net last year and was kicked off almost immediately. The original owner had him banned but when the site died & we moved it, he found the new forum. It wasn't long before he started with his exact same nonsense. Some people never grow up I guess.

I remember Cubby from AzCentral and I remember him posting some real sick photos once which made we leave the site.

I can't remember if it was .net or if I was even on there but it must not have been very long until I found RealGM back when it was more exclusive. lol
