Rather ugly basketball this series. I hope both teams show up one game. Disappointing as a basketball fan, but as a Celtic fan I can't complain.

I was rooting against the cavs because I hate super teams. Now? I no longer care who wins. The playoffs take FOREVER and the finals have been going on for nearly two weeks. My interest is fading fast.

I still can't understand the reasoning behind burning a jersey. I would never do that, regardless of how a player left the team. Go donate that thing to a homeless shelter. I'm sure someone in need could use it. Worst-case scenario - turn that thing into an after-sex rag.

:nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: :nonono: at the amount of snitching that has gone on this year.

The Cavaliers reportedly pushed hard to get Draymond Green suspended for smacking at LeBron James‘ groin.

Lo and behold, Green was suspended for Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

So, Cleveland go its way?

Zach Lowe of ESPN:

"The Cavs wanted him suspended for two games. I can tell you that. They wanted it to be a flagrant 2 and to have him suspended for Game 5 and Game 6."

Wow. How sad. I look forward to tonight and see how they try to bait Draymond into another retaliation flagrant/technical foul. Perhaps have Richard Jefferson come in and whisper sweet nothings into his ear? Maybe bring Delly in and have him tackle Green like he was playing Aussie football? JR Smith with his patented backhand swing?

Somewhere, a very ugly, tall man with long blond hair is smiling and sighing with relief.

I want nothing more than for the Cavs to lose. My fandom is pretty much 1. Boston... 2. Whoever plays against the Cavs and OKC (I also dislike OKC greatly).

I'm going to skip tonights game because I'm positive the Cavs will steamroll the Warriors. Waiting on game 7.

I agree with this. Warriors are going to lose by 10+ points tonight. Lebron has finally figured out to stop passing and take over himself because there is no one that can stop him.

I just want another good game personally.

It would be nice to see the series extended but I think it likely ends tonight.

Scott Foster is the lead referee tonight, which doesn't bode well for the Warriors. He's got a bit of history with them, which is why the NBA took him off Game 7 in the WCF. Not surprising that he'd be reffing tonight. Game 7 ratings will be through the roof!

Will you stop with this 'good game' nonsense. Lebron scoring 40 points is not a good game. It's quite the opposite. It's awful. End this series now before I go insane. I wake up with images of Kyrie holding a trophy. I get anxiety picturing JR Smith and TT pouring champagne on one another. Then there's Tyronn Lue... ugh ...

Sports will be the end of me. I need to relax.

Lol, man, it's all good. I just want to watch good basketball.

I'm not gonna say anything else here cause I jinxed the game in the Cavs favor last time, but I'll just say this: we both know how this series is ending.

JR and TT pouring champagne on each other. What a disgusting image, lol. Worse than that Bosh bukkake from years back.

Couldn't agree more with the first paragraph and less with the 2nd. :)
Not positive Dubs win, but I'm watching regardless.

Torn between wanting the series extended (which is 50/50 wanting more good basketball vs wanting more wear and tear related Finals hangovers for next season), and also wanting it over so we can just get to rumor season already.

Sort of like a level 2 inception.

I'm hoping for a buzzer beater to send the Cavs home tonight. Also, I would burn the **** out of a Ray Allen jersey if I had owned one.

When it comes to Cavalier home games, I usually record it and keep an eye on the score through my phone. So when it says Cavs are up 15 or 20.. I shut it down for the night and avoid ESPN in the morning. But if the Warriors somehow win, then I watch it back on DVR with my popcorn and feet up.... Then take to RealGM to read through the threads for riveting entertainment. :D

I'm proud to have never owned any Ray related gear. Wouldn't have burned it if I did though, feel like that gives him too much credit. Would have thrown that **** in the garbage with my cat's litter.

Sadly, I own both Green (Jeff) and Walker jerseys. My most embarrassing sports gear. At least I was intoxicated when I made the Green purchase.

I go to one or two games in the Garden every year and the preponderance of Ray jerseys disgusts me. I see 20s everywhere at our home games. Usually more than I see KG's.

Fair enough. :) I do the same basically throughout the playoffs for non-Cs games. But for finals, I've watched them all.
