Hey, I noticed you locked my thread...no biggie since it ran it's course, but just a quick question for ya....why are we not allowed to make trade threads asking opinions on if a video game trade is fair? I'm sure a bunch of people do that without admitting it...maybe I shouldn't have been honest lol, but a fake trade is a fake trade no matter which way you slice it. That's the point of this board...whether people are having conversations with friends and need to ask the board to weigh in, or are bored and wanna conjure up a fake deal. We are not actual gm's so, to be offended as to the reason why someone posts a fake deal is kinda silly no? This whole board is full of fake trades that will never happen, and are posted for all sorts of reasons. I don't think any fake trade should be locked provided it follows the board rules of providing reasoning for all teams, and so on. I wouldn't mind giving someone an opinion on whether their 2k trade was realistic if that's what they're shooting for. Just my 2 cents after 15 years of posting hypothetical trades for all sorts of reasons.

So first off the reasoning is off because those guys aren't even on the teams you list. That makes it confusing and messy.

Second, there is a whole board about video games. Post it there.

Finally, 90% of the board doesn't care if the computer will allow the logic in 2K or not, so we don't clutter up the Trade board with video game trades. It has happened before and people respond with things like "Well in 2K the computer accepted it, so you are all stupid" or things like that. It isn't what the board is for.

I getcha about the different rosters being confusing, and the guys with dumb responses like "the computer accepted it, so you are all stupid," but that video game board is not for basketball related trades...that's for gamers talking about particular video games.

Anyways, I guess next time I just won't mention it since that can cause confusion to a degree. I'll just post a hypothetical trade like everyone else, and make sure the rosters reflect real life ones.
