LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

Re: The Lebron Thread (2015-16 Pt. 3)
JVG was very complimentary in the latest Lowe Post. In response to can Draymond win Finals MVP question from Lowe.
JVG: Listen Lebron James was the MVP last year in the Finals, he's the MVP this year in the Finals and I can't even fathom, and I don't know if you voted last year...
Lowe: I did. (Both voted for Bron FYI)
JVG: I can not even fathom how anyone voted any differently, it's obvious by the numbers, the numbers are so compelling that you have to go against the numbers, you have to say the numbers are lying and then when you go with the eye test you see the same thing. So if I were to say to you in a playoff series that a guy lead the series in well 2nd in points, shot nearly 50%, lead the series in rebounds, blocks, steals, assists but he's not the MVP you'd say are you kidding me let's go look at the tape. And if you see the tape it's OBVIOUS. But were going to do the unobvious and vote somebody else. And so there is nobody else in contention. There wasn't last year, there isn't this year, it's obvious who the best player, the most valuable player and were going to go against that just because his team loses.
After Lowe rants about Draymond should be disqualified from Finals MVP consideration due to suspension.
JVG: How can anybody. Tell me a rationale for voting for anyone then Lebron James. Unless you are saying the award is only for the winning team's MVP (which goes on to say last year it was Curry for the Warriors).
2 people's opinions I respect the most in the basketball media.

I half-thought he was auditioning for a Cavs coaching position when I was listening to this.

The coach who goes out of his way to tell it like it is except he will never ever ever criticize a coach. Don't think that's what that was.
He's just speaking truth. To anyone knowledgeable basketball fan with a pair of eyes. It's obvious who the MVP of both Finals are. And it's no disrespect to the Warriors who have a clearly superior team and are the likely back to back champions.

Oh I know he wasn't doing it. If it was any other analyst, I would've considered the auditioning angle a little more seriously. And I agree with him, because of the way match ups work out between these two series, Curry just isn't gonna be the most valuable player on the court over a 7 game series. That'll be Draymond (for the GSW). Lowe surprised me with how he almost isn't even gonna consider Green for FMVP. Makes sense though, a missed game in the finals is a big deal.

LeBron knows the journey I’ve been on. I made my first NBA Finals when he was still in high school.
I’ll probably tell him how much this meant to me when this is all over. LeBron knows the journey I’ve been on. I made my first NBA Finals when he was still in high school. He’s very aware of what he’s trying to accomplish for this city. He’s aware of how much it would mean to me, and the rest of the guys, to win a championship.
I don’t care if you’re a LeBron “fan,” or not, I have seen it: Bron has something I’ve never seen. The way he says “follow me and I’ll take you there” with actions, more than words, is like no one else I’ve ever played with. He’s the kind of leader who makes you want to carry the weight too. I feel indebted to him. We all do.

That article by RJ is great. Hes the best.
So price from rcf posted some defensive numbers of brons for this series..
Game 5
3-17 FG (18%), 0-5 3s (0%), 1-6 defending at the rim (17%)
Overall opponents' shooting against LeBron in these Finals
Overall: 3.8/11.2, 33.9%; opponents usually shoot 48%; -14.1%
Threes: 1.4/4.2, 33.3%; opponents usually shoot 38.9%; -5.6%
Twos: 2.4/7, 34.3%, opponents usually shoot 53.8; -19.5%
Less than 6 ft: 1.6/3.4, 47.1%, opponents usually shoot 64.5%, -17.4%
Less than 10 ft: 1.6/4.4, 36.4%, opponents usually shoot 59.2%; -22.9%
Greater than 15 ft: 1.8/5.6, 32.1%, opponents usually shoot 39.9%; -7.8%
I think lebrons probably become the most underrated defender in the nba.

Heart says win, gut says loss.
We need to win the first quarter in a convincing manner.

Heart and head say win. I really really really would hate to see them force a game 7 only to lose though. It would be so.... Cleveland sports. Just that much more frustrating.

Re: The Lebron Thread (2015-16 Pt. 3)
I honestly don't know what to expect. Draymond is going to play as hard as he has in his life and his return will be a big boost to the Warriors motivation and energy, and Lebron/Kyrie are unlikely to repeat their game 5 performances... but the Cavs are at home and have already blown the Warriors out at the Q.
I will say this is the first time since 2013 game 7 that I've been truly antsy waiting for a Lebron game to start. In 2014 and 2015 it never really felt like they had much of a chance, but right now it feels like they have a shot, even if the odds are still clearly on the Warriors side.

It would suck be still a very good effort to fight back. Havent only 2 or 3 of the 32 (round about number cant remember exactly) teams that have been down 3-1 in a finals series forced a game 7?

Yeah - even when they were up, you just knew it wasn't sustainable.
Golden State are obviously far superior, and they're probably the GOAT team win or lose - but it feels like if Cleveland can juuuuuust get this one, maybe the "NOBODY BELIEVES IN US" factor will be immense going into game 7.

Win or lose, I can't believe one player has given me this much entertainment for this long. I don't know how long he keeps its up but the guy is a joy to watch compete.
