That's been fairly obvious all along imo. And I think it's pretty clear the ranking ought to be Bender, Murray, Hield. Murray being that much younger than Hield is just a huge deal.

I really hope Davis falls to us at 13. I feel that regardless of who we take at 4, we should select a guy who can play center at 13. Davis and Skal can do that. I'd love Chriss too but he won't slide that far at this point it seems.

Jimmy Butler was on Bill Simmons' podcast. Complimented Booker and says Jaylen Brown reminds him of himself.

SHAZAM!

Suns traded Mikal Bridges, Cam Johnson, Jae Crowder and 4 1st round picks and a swap so some Vegas Bookies would like us.

Sadly, I see the same situation, then we'll package him for peanuts like we did Ennis... :banghead: Great use of a 4th overall pick!

But seriously, if they select Dunn, they better commit to him and find a way to move Bledsoe or Knight.

After the new news, guess who is back on my list

Bender
Trade for Okafor
Dunn

He has it all fellas. Defense, Offense, ATH, swag and fit after trade of Bledsoe to Cleveland. 8-)

Can't knock him.

If we take Dunn to keep him then I think we should trade Bled Knight Tucker and Tyson for whatever we can get.

Total PR move by Kris Dunn - still wont workout or release medical records to Boston/Phoenix - just doesn't want to be booed on road trips

Some of the folks who mentioned Knight/13 possibly being able to get Okafor might've been on to something.

I would love knight and 13 for Okafor. I'm not even that big of a fan of Okafor but they way this draft looks I'd probably do 4 for him if bender is off the board.

I would take Jah over SImmons, he would probably be the #1 rated prospect in this class and is more than a consolation prize

Latest mock on DX is up. Some interesting stuff: Bender drops to 7, we take Marquese Chriss and Domantas Sabonis in the lottery, Kris Dunn to Celtics.

What I'm hoping for is a mix of Boris Diaw/Draymond Green/Toni Kukoc. I think maybe he can be a 15/7/6/1 kind of player depending on the system. Not sure if he'll ever be an all-star but I'll take those kind of stats.

Expecting Toni Kukoc is a stretch. Kukoc was a far superior player. One of the greatest players to come out of Europe. Ever. Just because Dragan says he "tries" to model his game to his, doesn't automatically mean he's destined to be Kukoc 2.0. Players (American) try to mimic MJ & other greats. Does that mean its successful? NO. Let's pump the brakes on these Kukoc comparisons. Outside reality.

That's a ridiculous thing to say when one guy has completed his NBA career playing with Jordan and Pippen and the other guy is 18 getting ready to enter the NBA. Of course Kukoc was better.

That's like saying Boris Diaw was a far superior player to Ben Simmons. One of the best players of recent times to come out of Europe, contributing to multiple playoff teams who made deep runs. Ben Simmons can't lead a college team to a 68 team tournament.

Agreed. I like Chriss, but If we pass up Bender for Chriss I might have an aneurysm.

And ultimately McD will tell the reporters he was #1 on his board.

Chriss probably wouldn't even garner lotto consideration in any other draft. I feel like most f mocks are trying to compensate for not having listed he was compeltetely under the radar and is now skyrocketing

Kukoc was the best player in Europe to come around in a long time when he came over. It would be very generous to include Bender in the conversation is all. Much like the Amare/Chriss comparisons, people are going overboard.

Well I personally have never compared him to Kukoc and I think most said he was just his idol. But six years from now if Bender was in Europe, he could be the best player there, like when Kukoc came over at age 24. I mean yeah, any guy who had a great career in the nba and europe, comparing to a guy that should have just finished his last year of high school is just absurd.

If someone said Hield's idol is Jordan, I don't expect a response "that is a ridiculous comparison.....Jordan was WAY better!"

Sure. I've seen those. Dunn is Westbrook. Murray=Curry/Klay. Ingram is Durant, Etc. Don't make it right. If I said, Buddy was D-WADE. I would get lots of replies from people saying I was wrong and or an idiot for saying it lol. Just saying.
