Detroit Pistons 2016 Voting Big Board - #14

Post#1 » by coordinator0 » Fri Jun 17, 2016 4:40 am

After tying in the last poll but losing to Sabonis after a couple of revotes, Skal Labissiere wins the 14th spot on Detroit's big board. No real surprise there given the (expected) hype he's gotten. I'm not particularly high on him but his upside is that of a player that would fit exactly what the team needs in another big.

Who's your pick for the #14 player on Detroit's big board?

1. Ben Simmons
2. Brandon Ingram
3. Dragan Bender
4. Jamal Murray
5. Kris Dunn
6. Buddy Hield
7. Marquese Chriss
8. Wade Baldwin
9. Deyonta Davis
10. Jakob Poeltl
11. Jaylen Brown
12. Domantas Sabonis
13. Skal Labissiere

Valentine. I love the idea of him off the bench and I really am not high on Ellison.

Ellenson, there's a new workout video of him shooting all over the court like Dirk. He's also already got the NBA size to body up NBA bigs.

Ellenson projects as a shooting big regardless, but take the workout videos with a grain of salt. Guys can easily shoot their way into rhythm and look great for a stretch.

I'm not a fan of him myself. He's just too far away defensively right now to see a light at the end of the tunnel. That includes ability, technique, and the mentality. You just don't see it with him. I'm not sure a new version of Spencer Hawes is worth drafting in the lottery, but some team will take him that high anyways. Hopefully Milwaukee. 8-)
