I don't even like the Warriors tbh I just prefer them over Cleveland. If Toronto was in the finals I'd be rooting for them right now. I had quite the laugh when OKC put the clamps on them until game 5. However, I do like Steph, I always liked Iggy and I have mad respect for Bosa and specially Livingston for what they went through and how they came back from it. Draymond Green is the player I hate the most in the history of the sport.

I don't see the difference in losing in the finals or Ecf or semi finals. The only difference is the heartbreak is bigger. You either lift that banner or you don't.

all good Brun, you're right that LBJ's finals record will forever stand out and against him in GOAT ranking talk. And I forgot to say I like Livingston too.

I'm glad we have a game 7. GS's had a couple of bad breaks (Bogut, Iggy, the Green suspension) just like CLE got the injury shaft last postseason. I'm always up for drama and go into it happy as an NBA fan to say may the best team (left at this point) win!

Seeing what Lebron is doing right now makes me appreciate more of our team during the big three era. We pushed this dude when he was in his prime with better talent all around him against our old and injured stars. It also tells me that our 08 team would've gave this Warriors team a whoppin'.

This is the NBA. In the NBA, NFL and NHL, making the finals, especially multiple years in a row, is a huge accomplishment whether you win it all or not.

Oh geez. There are people on the GB who think Curry deliberately aimed and threw his mouth piece at a specific person. Just when I thought the GB couldn't be more insane..

I dunno the rules specifically (ok at all) but the Curry mouth guard throw incident should be interesting. Possible suspension? Hope not, it would ruin a epic game 7.

I don't think intention will factor into it(again i dunno the rule on that) but the fact he did it will be taken into account.

Oh I wasn't talking about his potential suspension. I just think it's insane that anyone would think any player in the heat of the moment would somehow spot a dude in the front row and throw a mouth piece at him in literally less than like half a second while looking away. Haha

Just a hefty fine, no suspension, based on precedents of players throwing objects at fans.

Yeah if he had thrown it at a ref, it would have been a suspension probably. In the stands is usually a fine.

*4, as of today.

We just don't get to forget he won twice. Winning matters. Winning is hard.

I'm not even a Lebron stan. I think he's goofy and self-absorbed. I also still refer to anyone bricking a shot in a clutch situation as "Lebroning it". I get it. I just think the hate is hilarious. People end up saying really foolish stuff that needs to be called out.
4 time loser trumps 2 time winner in most cases also. Doesn't change much. He loses more than he wins. He has overpowered buddy ball teams and he still gets his ass handed to him more often than not. He can thank Ray Allen for not being a big 1 and 6 come Sunday night when the Warriors hand him his ass again.

Every player in history has lost more than they won (cept Russell, i guess). Unless you want to (illogically) state that losing in the finals is somehow worse than losing in the ECF/not making the playoffs

Im sorry but if the league is fair, Curry should be suspended for game 7. The guy is showing stuff he hasn't shown so far in his career. In no way, shape or form should he be throwing stuff at people in the stance, regardless of it being a minority owner's son, fan or whoever... Very childish from Curry. It wasn't intentional, but it still shouldn't be happening, cause his team needs HIM!

Lebron is a **** self-absorbed diva, but the gave never does **** like that. And Draymond Green is taking his "thug" shannaningans too far.

I'd like the Cavs to win 1 championship. This should probably be it. Let's see if they can do it.

Also if you guys remember game 7 of our last Final appearance- Gasol traveled twice scored 5 points out of it, we didn't fight anybody. Rasheed tried to talk to the refs after the game, but he didn't attack any1 and to me this was much, much bigger, considering how tight the game was back then.
Good assessment:

I agree that making the finals and losing is still better than losing earlier, but the only thing is that A few of the years Lebron made the finals in a row it was a cakewalk. It's still impressive longevity but when 4 of 5 teams who could maybe win a ring all play out west you should be going to the finals. I bet his teams were favored in every single series during the streak. Still impressive to live up to expectations for so long, but I don't think that should be a major argument in him potentially being the GOAT.

Man, I dunno. LeBron & TT were amazing. Love lost even more trade value. Kyrie had a great first half, decent 2nd. BUT... If Iggy's healthy, Steph isn't tossed and GSW hits a few more shots and gets hosed a little less on fouls => title. Amazing how thoroughly CLE dominated, yet Dubs had a chance to get within 6 at one point mid Q4. Then made 2 boneheaded plays in a row, Steph gets tossed a minute or so later and it's over. But at home, a few more shots go in, a few more calls go their way, Dubs pull it out. If it happens early Sunday, it gets out of hand and you get game 6 2008.

Kyrie & LBJ are gonna have to go dual 50 point games to win Sunday while Smith puts up 20 and TT goes 15 & 15.....
Yes I realize the math therein says they need at least 135 pts to win... :D
