Another PHX rumor: Rich Paul will push to have Eric Bledsoe moved this offseason putting Kris Dunn in play at 4 as well.

Love to Boston
Bledsoe to Cleveland
#3 to Phoenix

This is fantastic.

Maybe I should change the poll for what two players people would take if we had the 3 AND 4.

Love to NY makes so much more sense, specially if they are willing to take a chance on Rose.

They get a quick rebuild of Rose/????/Porzingis/Love/Lopez

I'd probably just rotate those three frontcourt guys. KP can easily play center with Love, and the other combinations are natural as well.

Damn, I was just looking at what SFs Cleveland could send back and looking at NY's depth chart. NY has NO backcourt, and really no 3 outside of Melo.

It does somewhat make sense for them (if any team is going to do it) to take a chance on Rose, but he was awful last year. I think he has one of the lowest fg% in the league.

Hornacek isn't going to have it easy. I guess he's used to that. Opposite situation now.....all frount court no backcourt.

Kyrie isn't getting moved, he has established himself as a Top 5 PG this postseason, why would the Cavs want to downgrade? He is outplaying Steph in the Finals if they lose its not because of him

after dropping 41 in Game 5? no way. he could be the reason they win a ring. there's no agreed upon trade, he's not going anywhere.

also want to chip in that Harrison Barnes is 24 years old and good. eFG% of 53.1%, 76.1 FT%. if we can send P.J. packing and play TJ and Barnes 30 minutes between the 3 and the 4, I'm totally happy.

McD must see that as an asset, it's a great contract. he may retain his trade value at the end of the contract, or it may actually get better. as with IT - it doesn't matter whether the guy "fits." you're adding the ability to trade for first rounders or whatever you want, if you decide.

as much as i want TJ to average 24 ppg, i'd be ok with adding Barnes.

what i expect, however, is that Warriors will match/KD will sign somewhere else, so that the Warriors don't have to give up their guys. they're smart over in the Bay Area.

wow, that is great.

i'll do that. give me 10 years of Kris Dunn OR Jamal Murray, and with the 4th pick I'll take.....Bender or Chriss? if we have Dunn or Murray, i care a lot less whether or not Bender or Chriss pan out. (#stillellenson, lol). if Bled is gone, we have a lot longer timetable to rebuild, and i'm totally OK with that.....even though I think we could compete with this roster.

i don't think this will happen.....and i REALLY don't think that Suns/Knicks/Cavs trade will happen (in fact, Chad Ford "suggested" that exact trade yesterday, so i think antoniov is piggybacking off of Chad).....but i would be down with a longer rebuild. Murray, Dunn and Hield are really interesting, and it stinks that we're not able to invest in one of them significantly.

Can Bledsoe and Irving coexist on the Cavs ?

Here's the way I imagine it.... if the Cavs lose, LeBron will have input on the changes HE needs to make them better. The players he wants to play with. If he doesn't get that, then he has the option to walk. I can't see how Gilbert would let that happen. So LeBron says I want Melo and Bledsoe here... and the only way that can happen is moving Love and Irving. Love is an obvious goner, and if LeBron wants his Boy Bled, then he'll get him. 41 pts or not.

If the Cavs win... well, then LeBron has fulfilled his obligation to bring a title to Cleveland. Who knows what he'll do then.

going to be a fun filled week

Knicks have no quality guards and are reportedly looking for backcourt help.
Hornacek is their new coach and got solid productivity out of a Bledsoe and Knight backcourt.
Rich Paul allegedly wanting Bledsoe out.

Wonder if the Knicks would be interested in taking them on?

Bled, Knight
For
Melo... +?

Then flip Melo to a 3Rd team? Surely he'd nab a lotto pick (Boston?) at least.

here's how.... real simple, no draft picks involved.

I seriously want no part of Kevin Love.

I'd rather do that trade and send Love to Coach Horny in New York and take Irving for ourselves.

Agreed. Love has not shown very much, if anything in the Finals. He was okay against Detroit and the second round matchup but not against GSW.

Irving, though a lot of hero ball - is better.

My guess, the Suns will end up with Love though - buy low deal

NBADraft.net doesn't have any sources (Twitter isn't even verified, the only reason they get any traffic online is because of their url), but that is such an obscure rumor that you think maybe there is some truth to it.

I'd be surprised if Bledsoe wanted out though based on his twitter. He seems to be the only player in the Suns gym every single day, is staying in PHX during the off-season again, has been interacting with fans a ton on social media, has had meetups with fans to go biking, is recruiting guys like Barnes etc. For that reason I'm calling BS, but who knows what Rich Paul is planning. Perhaps he feels as if Bledsoe is not getting enough attention as he should in PHX. Bledsoe is notoriously underrated by the national media, the team is bad, and Bledsoe has seemingly lost his place as face of the franchise to Booker in only one season.

On the other hand, McD and Sarver seem to have a good relationship with Rich Paul after that Bledsoe debacle. They got a meeting with LeBron, Earl Watson is represented by Klutch Sports, and Rich Paul even sat next to Sarver at a game last year. Also, we were like one of four teams to get an in person workout with Dejounte Murray, a Rich Paul client. So all in all, I'm calling BS.

really? .... Rich Paul is a mouthpiece. Lebron blows, he toots.

All of Bledsoe's reactions/efforts are what players are supposed to do. He has shown the desire to lead this team. That is good, but means nothing in the big pic. He is not squawking and Paul is not threatening, more so setting up possibilities. its good to see paul has a relationship with Sarver. Crazy how demonized he (RS) is from the outside... but a good businessman burns no bridges. The interconnecting dealings on the inside level are hard to imagine.

Of course I have nothing but this source #bighunch.byme, but it seems logical if the Cavs lose they will restructure that line up and give it one more try. I think regardless, Love goes. And if Love is for sale, it is right up McMullys wheel house/game plan to land a real star. Now, whether or not Love qualifies is debatable. But no doubt, the ear is to the ground. And the rumored Boston involvement just reeks of backrooming. Easy to connect dots, or at least create them.

If we were walk out of this with #3 AND #4 and a trimmed down minimum payroll... perhaps Sarver could overlook the chump change he get from a first round playoff appearance as NOT spending a fortune on salaries teeters the financial totter. Rebuilding relieves the pressure of win now. I see it as a win win to stock up with young talent, even tho our fan base is jones-ing for some post season excitement.

The count down speculation continues.... Let us proceed 8-)

Bledsoe is the only thing holding back the all out tank, so I would glady ship him outta town for the right price before his knee inevitably gives out and take Dunn who has a chance to be better.. Most fans have a selective amnesisa when it comes to Bledsoe completely quitting the 6 games leading up to him going down. Before he was leading us nowhere. He has rehabilitated his image as a'team first guy" after the Not So Mexican Standoff but wouldn't be shocked if he wants to chase greener pastures knowing his short prime is dwindling

Its just Rich Paul's way of telling the Suns not to draft a pg.
