Why NYK does it? A Porzingis Cousins frontcourt would be deadly. At this point they'd be one offseason away from offering Oladipo a max and establishing a new young talented core.
Why CLE does it? Love sticks out like a sore thumb in CLE. If CLE wants to win now before Lebron's decline they should look to move him now. CLE would instantly get a boost to a small ball lineup of Kyrie, Smith, Melo, Lebron, Thompson, or can go big with Mozgov at the 5 & Thompson at the 4, and Lebron taking the toughest perimeter defensive matchup
Why SAC does it? Gets the most value from a potential Demarcus Cousins deal. What they lose in Demarcus, they gain flexibility with a more easily defined frontcourt with WCS playing off of Love. Love can't fill up the stats like Demarcus but It would certainly make the squad more flexible to build moving forward.

Kings decline, Cousins is by far the most valuable player in the trade. No way 32-old Carmelo gets the Knicks Cousins respectively the Kings are willing to trade Cousins for Love whose trade value is on an all-time low. The Knicks need to add something to the mix but don't have the necessary assets to do that.

If I'm the Kings and I have to trade Cousins the cost is going to start at Porzingis, who has way more value than Love.

There's no way Chicago's management would trade away Jimmy Butler to Thibs, right? I just seem them being hell bent on not helping Minny in any way, shape, or form.

There needs to be another young player coming back to Sacramento, maybe like Grant from NY, and maybe Cleveland adds a late first rounder from a draft in a few years.

I have said to myself many times that Melo and Lebron would be a perfect combo. I feel they would compliment each other beautifully and probably win a couple of championships.

NY media/fans would be so split on moving on from Melo though.

i think the kings say yes in a second. they can start WCS at center and get a comporably talent to cousins who wont make waves and who can shoot. and 3 point shooting is their biggest issue. kings are a mess, and cousins has wanted out for some time. weve seen cousins as a good soldier and even that isnt very calm ... once he is really upset its going to get ugly. if they can get love they do it without hesitation imo.

i think the knicks say no... cut out the kings and take love for carmello. with lopez and pozingas i dont think they would want the F over the C

i dont think thats the way it works.... unless you are a bad GM. bad GM;s let emotion get in the way. if the wolves trade is good value and they like someone at #5 then you do the deal.

That's why I never said anything about it being a rational decision.

CHI's management has had weird control issues since the MJ days and every year there's always something that comes up to support that belief.

They took firing Thibs personally and I think they'd rather save face than make the best decision for the franchise. I think the last thing they want to do is watch Thibs succeed somewhere else why they flounder. It would only compound the embarrassment for the franchise.

I could only see them allowing Butler to go to the Wolves as a part of multi-team deal where they can walk away and say they did the deal because they were dealing with several teams and got what they felt like was the best deal. I'd be surprised if they did a trade just between them and Minny.

Warriors fans with some raptor level saltiness right now.... talking about the series being rigged.

there was a call or two on curry that was ticky tack, but you can take errant swiped in the back court 90 feet from the rim when you have 5 fouls and then get all pissy when you blow the whistle. he also could have been whistled and fouled out earlier when he kicked his leg out to draw contact on a 3 but didnt.

also lucky no action is gonna be taken for throwing his mouthpiece at a fan, and lucky the fan didnt do anything back.

as far as the game, there were some phantom calls clevelands way as well. love got called on the worst call of the game. moved out of the way and no contact arms down and they whislted him for it.

I was reading something on social media the other day regarding Tim Donaghy saying something about Draymond Green's suspension was very suspicious for ratings. I'm not sure how much validity such a statement has but it does make you wonder. The NBA doesn't want their season to end. Keep it going at whatever team's expense.

Lakers fans...errr....I mean Warriors fans have no reason to be salty. The NBA is going to give this record breaking, NBA defending champion a win on their own floor on Saturday night. It's inevitable and I won't be watching.
OKC Thunder fan, too.

The officiating has been bad all playoffs but I'm sorry referees didn't help Lebron and Kyrie drop an 80 point ASS WHIPPING on the Warriors, nor did the refs help Lebron basically beat them senseless last night. Warriors were rewarded with more FT attempts DESPITE playing long ball all night while the Cavs attacked the rim. The Green suspension was a culmination of nonsense, Green should have been suspended vs. OKC honestly. Either way, I love how the warriors and their fans complain about officiating now when their team is getting their balls handed to them on a plate by the the best player in the world. Curry finally lost his composure and it was telling because the Warriors have gotten coddled all year by the refs. Moving screens galore and not one whistle. Spare me. I hope Cleveland does them in on their own floor, and Curry's wife needs to sit down and shut up

what in the hell are you talking about? the two are not mutually exclusive. the warriors can be entitled and so can lebron. lebron has at least been there and lost and taken the mounds of criticism that comes with that. the warriors need to be knocked down a peg and have become insufferable.

The Warriors walked into the playoffs like the title was going to be handed to them. Lebron acts like a spoiled brat at times too but man...after being called a ****boy by Green in Game 4 he, in my opinion, is finally playing like he's supposed to, with dominance and ferocity. Dude is playing God Tier basketball right now. Its crazy that it took that kind of disrespect to flip that switch on for him but as a fan its great to see.

:( we'll never have a god tier player on our team. the nba sucks

Glad LBJ won the championship and should be able to silence haters forever.

Also, I'm happy for RJ. Another Net wins a title!

I wouldn't say the NBA is fully rigged but they definitely do tamper. Draymond should of never got suspended and because he did , it ruined momentum for the Warriors. LeBron is the NBA's baby, he can do whatever he wants and say whatever he wants but no calls on him, you have to be blind to not see the NBA favors Lebron a lot. He just looks at the ref and points to Curry or Draymond and they automatically get a tech. They called about 3 tricky tacky fouls on curry the game he got fouled out, But I honestly NEVER seen Lebron get any tricky tacky calls.

I remember when we played the Heat couple years ago in the playoffs, All Lebron kept doing was pushing and shoving Joe johnson the whole series but then JJ would get called for ticky tacky fouls which cost us like 2 games I remember. You can go check for yourself, and the thing about it was that those bad calls were in crucial moments in the 4th smh. And people wonder why all the Lebron hate ? Don't get me wrong he played his heart out in this series and deserved it but you guys can't deny that the NBA favors Lebron more than anybody else. Facts

The NBA is not rigged. Yes, refs make chitty calls, but both teams had a chance to win. You can go back and analyze all you want but the better team won.

Draymond kicked Steven Adams in the nuts twice, and should've been suspended then (but wasn't because the NBA didn't want Draymond's suspension to jeopardize the series) , and went for Lebron's nuts again. His suspension was warranted and did not cost the Warriors the series. (3-2)

They lost, but still had a chance to win. Then Bogut got injured - unfortunately, and unintentionally. But that allowed Lebron to abuse Curry in PnR without the rim protection. Curry had to foul to try trying to stop it, and Lebron lobbed to Thompson all night. They scored 11pts in the 1st quarter and were down 20 for most of the game. Curry got frustrated swiped at the ball twice 90ft in the backcourt with 5 fouls and got pissy. (3-3)

Game tied, evenly matched. Lebron chasedown block, Irving contested 3 to put the Cavs up 3. Curry has a chance to tie the game, but Kevin Love of all people plays lockdown defense and forces Curry into a contested shot that misses off the backboard. Game over.

Surprise - the team with one player leading both in scoring, rebounds, blocks, assists, and steals wins the game. The better team won. Just like the better Heat team beat the Nets. Get over it
