Correct, after the "Video Taping Incident", they are worried about team chemistry. Also, with Ingram playing Point-Forward, they really dont need a ball handler at PG. Its the reason why he wasnt nearly effective as he could have been this season with Kobe playing that Point-Forward role. On top of all that they still have Clarkson at PG, who they love and is more of a "Shooting Point Guard".
Point forward? Are you sure you are not thinking of Simmons? Ingram averaged 2 assists and 2 turnovers in college.
Hey, a late Saturday night....I understand.

Re: The Trade/Free Agency Thread: All Eyes Toward The Offseason 2
i feel like Mitch might have the stones to go for Hield.
is Ingram impressive for a freshman? there's no question.
is it possible we're getting caught in the trap of thinking he'll be the next Kevin Durant? of course we are.
the truth is, i don't know how good Ingram is going to be. i don't think he's Draymond Green. maybe he's Shawn Marion instead. maybe he's Peja Stojakovic. i have no idea. i really like him.
....but if you're the Lakers, you can afford to bust on this draft pick. why? because free agents will eventually flock to you like snowbirds flock to West Palm Beach on September 1st. you're waiting for Russell Westbrook. what do you care about player development?
so maybe those guys will never come. in which case.....i would be willing to bet on Dunn or Hield as the Lakers pick.
right now, here's my mock
Philly - Simmons
Lakers - Hield
Celtics - Ingram
Suns (if we keep the pick) - Chriss

Russell goes easy 1 or 2 in this draft. No question. A backcourt of Booker and Russell would be a potential dynasty for us. Defence will be an issue, but both players have great size and quickness at their respective positions which will help on that side of the ball.
Ild even throw in #13 and #4 to get to the job done. Russell as a prospect is miles ahead of anyone we could possibly take at #4.

This is just asinine.
Based on what? What has Dunn done at the collegiate level in his 4 years that has even remotely rivaled Russell's freshman season in college alone, ignoring the fact he has 1 year of NBA experience?

Hmmmm. This may be a case of who is available. If Dunn is there, then he gets picked. If Dunn is picked 3rd then may be McMully pulls the string on DRuss... followed by a Bled for 8 to sac town.

McMully trades off Bled and or Knight, then good or bad, he should be allowed to do the Cassell Dance on draft day.
What ? Me Worry ?

Check out my latest post in the draft thread, i kind of go over the whole situation hypothetically as i could see it going down.

Russel sounds good because your starting guards would be 20.. id honestly trade up to like 5-9 and try to aquire more picks.
1-2 players will fall most likely that the Suns are interested in

A's over Royals. Lester and experience will prove that he's worth the trade.
Tigers winning it all. Tigers are, imo, peaking at the right time.

Wouldnt even think twice about taking D-Lo at #2 in this draft mate.

Would you take him at 1? I know you said last year he is the next Harden and you'd take him #1.

Re: The Trade/Free Agency Thread: All Eyes Toward The Offseason 2
My dream senario.
Suns trade #4,28
For
Magic trade Gordan and #11
Trade PJ draft night for a late 20s pick to get that ranged pick back.

Here's my 2 cents on what I'd like the Suns to do.
#4 Draft Marquese Chriss
Trade #13 , And Brandon Knight to Philly for Okafor ( Maybe throw in Goodwin too ? )
Trade #28 , and #34 pick to hopefully get a pick back in the 22nd to 25th pick and select ((HOPEFULLY)) Valentine , Diallo, or if REALLY LUCKY Thon
We would have our Forward problem solved big time , And with a little luck we have Knight replaced by getting Bogdan Bogdanovic over here this year.
What's with all the D Russell talks ?? Why would I trade the #4 for Russell when I could just draft Dunn , Heild, or Murray ?? The Lakers had this guy the whole year , and if THEY are looking to trade him,,,,,,,,,,,THEN I DONT WANT NOTHING TO DO WITH IT

Russell sounds good because not only would they both be 20, but they both are over-sized for their positions, both have high BB IQ, and also both great at shooting/scoring. They are also both friends.

At #1? Nope. Simmons is one of those types of players that you just dont pass on. At #2? Its definitely a possibility in my book.

Well i guess you just kinda skipped over all the posts explaining why they are looking at moving him or any of the news articles. It really has nothing to do with his play on the court, but rather an issue with him and other players in the locker room (He somehow violated the bro code when Nikki Minaj leaked cellphone footage he shot of Nick Young bragging about cheating on his fiance Iggy Azelia leaked out.). I know this is the 3rd time that ive posted the reasoning that has been given, so from here on out im just going to use the eyeroll emoji when someone asks.
Also, Russell>>>>> Dunn/Heild/Murray

Well , You could post it 5 more times and it still wouldn't make any logical sense . We all saw what DR did last year , and it was far from spectacular.
Now this will be MY 2nd time posting this, since you "kinda skipped over the whole" ,,,,,,,,,,, Why would I trade the #4 for Russell when I could just draft Dunn , Heild, or Murray ?? thing that I had posted.
So what he violated the bro code,,,,,,,why help the Lakers ?? What , are you a part time Laker fan ??
" I know this is the 3rd time that ive posted the reasoning that has been given, so from here on out im just going to use the eyeroll emoji when someone asks.",,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I don't remember asking you ANYTHING, So I really didn't need your little pms rant (( Where's the "eyeroll emoji " when you need it ??))
Was just posting my 2 cents about the draft , and the talk of Russell,,,,,,,,,,,,Wasn't directed at you.

Here now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Eat a Snickers
PS,,,,,,,,,,,You probably could of got all 3 of your last posts into one post all together . No ?? I mean no sense in wasting all those pixels
