Detroit Pistons 2016 Voting Big Board - #16

Post#1 » by coordinator0 » Sun Jun 19, 2016 2:08 pm

Well, looks like I didn't get the next poll up in a timely manner. Not entirely my fault though, the power went out and doing it on the phone is a pain.

Henry Ellenson won the vote for the 15th player on Detroit's big board. Not a surprise given he would be the BPA according to most big boards, but to me he's really iffy. Only a few more left to go! We might end up only doing 18, since we can only get through 19 by the day of the draft. My fault for missing the poll a couple times.

Who's your pick for the #15 player on Detroit's big board?

1. Ben Simmons
2. Brandon Ingram
3. Dragan Bender
4. Jamal Murray
5. Kris Dunn
6. Buddy Hield
7. Marquese Chriss
8. Wade Baldwin
9. Deyonta Davis
10. Jakob Poeltl
11. Jaylen Brown
12. Domantas Sabonis
13. Skal Labissiere
14. Denzel Valentine
15. Henry Ellenson
16.
17.
18.
19.
20.

Dejounte Murray, but since he's not there, Jackson.

EDIT: Ops, didn't see the other option and can't change my vote.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Noted. Sadly... Dejounte, ugh.

I'm going with Demetrius again too. As much as I want a defensive oriented prospect (and/or free agents) he just seems to fit what Detroit needs in backup point guard otherwise too well.
