I seriously doubt anyone after 2 would be drafted in the top 8 of last years draft, so definitely not.

If Sixers give us #1 for Russell, then Yes.

Other than that, NO. Russell has more potential than anyone in this current Draft.

Maybe if Suns throw in Booker, #4 and #13, but that's not happening because they are smarter than that.

I would not trade him for anyone outside of Simmons or Ingram in this draft. He has shown glimpses of being a special player in this league.

For just a top 5 pick i'd say hell no. It'd be a lateral move at best but more than likely an idiotic move that'll end up making the franchise look like a bunch of tards.

It all depends on how Kris Dunn turns out if you ask me. If Dunn is the new John Wall or CP3 only bigger, as some has touted him to be, then i can see a reason to make the move. If not, then no. I don't really see anyone in the 3-5 range other than Dunn being that much of a surefire special player.

This is a two man draft so Russell for a top 5 seems like a lateral move. Might as well just trade Russell for Okafor and a pick in the 20s.

If Dunn was John Wall only bigger it would not have been a 2 player elite draft discussion all year. This is basically the same crap that happened with Noah Vonleh in 2014... people just get waaaay too over exaggerated on some players as the draft approaches.

Only for the first pick, after that absolutely not

I'd say as a rough chart

Russell - #1 pick only
Clarkson - #7 and above (realistically i would only deal him for Buddy Hield, and i would do this with remorse)
Julius Randle - 7-8ish (not that randle would be traded anyway)
LNJ (12-14ish, would only want Skal really)
Lou Williams (25-30ish)
Nick Young (top 60 protected pick till 3000)
