Nah, I disagree. I think you're underestimating max-level Steph in making a comment of that sort.

Dunno about that. If both teams are clicking along at max level, there are more Warriors players better than Cavs players, and if Dray/Klay/Steph are all going, I can't envision a Lebron game which will overcome that.

Well there's a tricky interplay here. LeBron playing at max level I'm assuming means he's shutting down Draymond which is proven to have trickle down effects on GSW offense. Can't have both a "max LeBron" and "max Warriors" at the same time, as one implies the absence of the other.

I'd actually say that "shutting down Draymond" isn't where Lebron's max-level defensive efficacy manifests, personally. He's more of a help defender than a lockdown individual defender and most of Draymond's individual production comes from receiving passes after other action.

But yes, this is a troublesome thing to conjure for various reasons of interaction.

I have a feeling the Cavs are gonna lose because lue is going to overplay Love since he's "their guy" and Barnes is going to actually hit open shots, probably go like 4/6 from 3.

I have a feeling we're all going to be celebrating in this thread tonight. This just feels like it's Cleveland's time. I have that "believeland" 30 for 30 sitting in my DVR ever since its original airing on May 14th, and I've purposely avoided watching it for the past 5 weeks, because watching it after a Cleveland championship can only enhance the experience of the Cavs victory. If they lose tonight I'm deleting that ish asap and I will probably never see it lol

Funny, I feel the opposite. When I went to sleep last night I was pretty confident in the Cavs, but I woke up feeling like the Warriors are going to take it. The logical part of my brain says "I have no **** clue what's going to happen", though.

And I'm very afraid of Lue playing Love too many minutes. Even 3 bad Love minutes early in the game could put them in a 10 point hole, which can feel insurmountable against the Warriors. I just hope he doesn't kill them tonight.

He was actually great in the first few minutes in Game 6. But yeah. 2 missed rotations on Barnes, who finally makes a couple open ones, and it might be game.

I just wanna live in a world where an about to retire Jr Smith signs to an up and coming contender to be their locker room vet with a ring. I can just imagine him playing the Fisher/Perkins role for the Wolves in 2020.

We've all ragged on the guy for his flaws - anything from his free throws, his jumper, his whining to the officials - but it's only because we know more than just about anyone how truly special he can be when he plays at max effort.

I've been flip-flopping (since after Game 6 ended) on what tonight's result is going to be, but in all that time I've been sure of only one thing: LeBron James showing the world why he (and only he, it seems) can bear the weight of impossible expectations, and surpass them.

Maybe my gut feeling is colored by the fact that I'm personally having an awesome weekend, the weather is amazing by me too, positive vibes just overflowing. What better way to cap it off than to have our guy 'Bron hoisting that Larry-O...

In addition, I'm driving in my car about a half hour ago, I got music blaring from my iPhone, and I say to myself "I'm hitting shuffle here, and the first song that pops up is giving me a sign about tonight's game." What comes up? "Slow Love" by Prince. That tells me slow ass Kevin Love is bringing it tonight. He's drinking his chocolate milk, and he's got something for the dubs. He can totally redeem so much with just one game.

Any final reports on Iggy's condition?
Now that's the difference between first and last place.

I was watching igoudala take warm up turnaround jumpers on the floor wearing a hoodie about 15 minutes ago on NBA tv, and he was wincing on literally every one of them. Make of that what you will.

Yeah i doubt hes fine but if he gets some shots in the back and the adrenaline of the game takes over he'll probably be fine and a complete cripple tomorrow.
