2016 NBA Trade Rumors: Celtics Moving to Get D’Angelo Russell and Julius Randle from the Lakers?

ESPN writer suggested that the Celtics can acquire D’Angelo Russell and Julius Randle from the Lakers for a couple of draft picks and trio of role players.

INSANE!!!!!!

Two words. Chad. Ford

Just like the three way he came up with the Cavs, Knicks and Suns - this is garbage

He is just not in the know. Not sure if its because he is teaching too much (and good for him) or smoking too much Maui Wowie - but when he throws stuff out there, its using the ESPN Trade Machine,. No validity

Exactly. Ford is like the living embodiment of ESPN. 90% of the **** he writes is just made up garbage intended to drive up traffic to their website. He's useless

I wonder if there's any way we could get WCS from Sac. He can guard nearly everyone and he's athletic as hell. Would fit perfectly

Well according to a Sac fan or two on realgm, no way would they trade him for the 3rd or 4th pick and I'm pretty sure not Knight.

Pick 4 and Knight for D'Angrlo Russell

Or

Okafor

Im dowm with both.

With Russell.. It means Bledsoe needs to be shipped off soon also. Maybe for a big man.

Russell isvery talented... Could be Harden-esque in the future. I cam understand why Lakers would consider trading him. He has lost some face in the locker room due to his snitching issue... A new environment can help.

I'd be very keen on a Knight +#13 for #8 if either of our PF targets are available (looks like at least one will be).

I'd possibly even be convinced to couple it with #4 for Russell. Walking away from this draft with a ready made PG prospect and a PF, even at the expense of Knight would be solid:

Bledsoe, Russell
Booker, Bogdanovic
Warren, Tucker
Bender, Teletovic
Len, Chandler

I feel is a fantastic mix of youth and experience, offense and D, and positional balance.

Im wondering if King James would be ok playing for The Kings.

Ok, check this out: Say we trade Bledsoe for like #8 and a future pick. We know that Bledsoe and Cousins are friends and Bledsoe and LeBron are friends. They have roughly $34M in capspace to spend, could that net them Lebron and maybe like a S&T with Atlanta, WCS for Horford? Bledsoe/Gay/Lebron/Horford/Cousins would be deadly and i think BETTER than the Cavs were this season.

Carmelo Anthony to Cleveland
Kevin Love to Phoenix
4th, Brandon Knight and T.J. Warren to New York
Disclaimer: Trades I post shouldn't make you stressed or angry if you disagree. If you say it's unproductive because it won't happen and we're only allowed to post deals that actually happen, it takes away 99% of trades here and the fun out of the board.

Love will be OK to be traded now... He has a ring.. He can now focus on being a 20/10 player again.

And Kyrie Irving is probably worth two Bledsoes after this series.

Possibly something our GM would do. Most of our board wouldn't like it, but our GM would probably love to run with Bledsoe/Booker/Tucker/Love/Chandler or Len. That actually could have the makings of a pretty competitive team. But it completely sacrifices our future and many of us are worried that our GM might do exactly that being in the last year of his contract with no renewal so basically a lame duck.

Nah..... He wouldn't. K Love played one good play the entire series, that was the last time he was guarding Steph. Love is yesterday's news.

I certainly hope the Suns do not go after Harrison Barnes now. That guy was so awful in three straight games it was unbelievable. Just give Warren the chance to play and/or go after a different small forward.

Love ever since joining the Cavs obviously has accepted a role layer role and mind set.

But the talent is there.

Just like Bosh... Bosh post-Lebron has regained his star role and has produced.

If Suns can have Love for cheap..or on a value deal.. I will take him.
But make sure the Suns have a shot blocking center and defensive minded SF next to him.. So he can focus on scoring and rebounding.

All three of the assets we give up have more value individually than Love. Pass.
