All three of the assets we give up have more value individually than Love. Pass.

I'd say #4 > Love
Knight+Warren = Love

But i wouldnt do either

I'd be willing to do Eric Bledsoe/#13 for Kevin Love and that's about it. Draft Kris Dunn who might be able to do what Bledsoe does on both ends of the court in a couple of years.
Dunn/Booker/Warren/Love/Len +Knight/Chandler/Bogdan (when he comes over) is solid and we don't completely mortgage our future for Kevin Love.

I thought Love played awesome in this game on defence- and proved he can be a key part of this team.

I dont see why Cleveland would make a major trade after just winning the championship.

seriously if I'm David Griffin I'm not trading any big pieces of a team that just completed the first 3-1 comeback in Finals history.

keep Love/Kyrie, maybe sign some cheap vets and go for the repeat

if i'm Cleveland, i'd rather have Love than Melo. better rebounder, better shooter, younger.

Don't know about the validity of this but it looks like the Lakers are trying to get Butler for something around Russell and #2. The kicker is the Bulls select Brown and Ingram falls the the C's. Jimmy wants to play in L.A., imagine they then sign Whiteside. And next year a homecoming for Westbrook?

My last post got me thinking how about we trade for Butler and sign Whiteside?

Cavs had to work their asses off to win. Love really didnt help that much. He has been almost non-existent all series, and its pretty bad when you are supposed to be a star player, getting paid $20M, and have to be taken out of the game for defensive assignments. Thats not just being a lame defender, thats being a really really bad defender. Just imagine what players that $20M could buy to really help the team.

Love should still be moved, just not to the Suns.

Love was invisible this series until this game. One week ago he was guaranteed to be traded.

Where did you hear this? I also think that would be a fantastic trade for the Bulls if it happened. Wow.

The only place I have heard that rumor is on the Bulls board. That's a lot to give up.

I disagree. They wouldn't have made it to the Finals without him, and he actually played a solid game tonight. Crashed the boards and played some crazy defense on Curry down the stretch. Finished with a great +/- as well. He's not a good matchup against GS, but he held his own tonight, and his concussion certainly didn't help his performance this series.

I feel like if you have a title team, don't mess with it.

This. Love doesnt get traded unless it's a no brainer type deal. So not a trade headlined by B.Knight and Tyson Chandler

Love played well in Game 7, he had 6 rebounds in the first quarter and it forced Kerr to tag him by putting Barnes on him closely, giving more room to the other 4.

I'll say it again.... as long as Love has a shot blocker who can protect the paint behind him, he will be fine in any team.

Boston are 5th favourites with the bookies, do they know something we don't?

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the Warriors signed Dudley. They'd be best off letting Barnes and Ezeli walk.

Love is a really good player and important piece of the Cavs' success against 28 or 29 teams in the NBA. He was huge in actually getting them to the finals. In 2015 before he got hurt the Cavs IIRC had something like the best offense in the league with him in the lineup. It's unfortunate for him/them that by far his worst matchup is the team they're most likely to meet in the finals.

There's barely any subtlety or context in NBA narratives and it's freaking annoying, so flawed dudes like Love get zero credit. You're either amazing or worthless.

This is more crazy than your nickname. Absolutely disguisting.

Right, when did Butler became MVP level player?? He is putting Bledsoe's number and can't lead his team to PO in the east. Giving 2 2nd picks for him is insane.

While I'm not a fan of trading for Okafor, I like the idea of Russell/Booker backcourt. Maybe that's because I'm tired of all this small ball BS and would love to have really big backcourt. 6'5 and 6'7, both can shoot, both have high BB IQ and they are buddies.

4th for Russell
Bledsoe for 8th and Gay

Russell/Knight
Booker/Knight
Tucker/Warren
Gay/Chriss
Chandler/Len

Booker is happy he has his buddy Russell.
Chriss is happy he has his favourite player Gay.
Everybody is

Left Field:

Suns trade: Knight/#13
Kings trade: Gay/#8

Kings get a starting PG. Suns get a solid backup SF and move up a little in the draft

Suns trade: #4
Lakers trade: Russell

Suns get a starting PG. Lakers get another top pick to select whomever they want.

Suns trade: Bledsoe
Cavs trade: Love

Bledsoe goes with his bud Lebron. Love becomes out starting PF

Suns trade: #28/#34
Bulls trade: Rose

Suns basically get a huge salary filler. Bulls clear an enormous amount of cap space to go after FAs to build around Butler.

Russell/Goodwin
Booker/Rose
Warren/Gay
Love/Chriss
Len/Chandler

Eh....just throwing it out there. Not that i'm in favor of any of it, just to keep the gears turning.

I know there is a lot of hatred toward Russell, but I would trade No 4/Knight for Russell/Randle. Booker and Russell could be our starters for the next 10 years, and with them being almost besties they are bound to get the best out of each other (I assume).
