Cleveland made some clutch shots and plays, Golden State didn't, expecially Curry who had some bad bricks. Cavaliers deserved to win it. Happy for Cleveland, quite a story when your hometown grows a generational talent and he comes home and ends the curse of the city.

The turning point came when Steve Kerr subbed in Festus Ezili in the 4th. What a horrible coaching decision.

One of the best individual performances in a NBA Finals series ever.

LeBron will continue to add to his accomplishments and break further records in the years to come, but there's no doubting that this guy is now already in the conversation for the greatest to ever play this game. He solidified that tonight.

They need to rescind that MVP and Executive of the Year award and hand it to him.

i have to disagree, curry was amazing during the season, he deserved that, he had a terrific year, just because a few games doesn't mean he ought to be striped of his awards. lets be frank, if we had curry instead of DD, you wouldn't bring this up. :)

but i have to say, its great for the city of the cleveland, really happy for them. the finals were terrific, the playoffs were fun, as the raptors played till may end.

So I finally watched that amazing Game of Thrones episode, and I had to remind myself that Golden State lost. I predicted the Cavaliers to win this game, but only because I thought LeBron would have another legendary game. He had a great game, especially when you consider his defense, but he was more, human, here. Which is not bad at all, but to beat Golden State on their own home court, I thought that was what was needed for the Cavs to win it all, another godly effort.

Curry and Klay choked so hard though, especially Curry. That sequence of him dancing around and getting locked down by Love was bad. They wasted away a fantastic performance by Green.

I'm not a Warriors hater but I'm glad they lost the way they did because I was getting really tired of their showboating, and that was what costed them in the end.

i think this win proves 1 thing - yes, its great to have home court advantage in the finals, but its not a guarantee that the home team will win. pistons & celtics came close to winning even the spurs came close to winning their game 7 in 2013 against the heat but the cavaliers have done it, hopefully this will serve the raptors well in the future, just becz we're down 2-3 (1-3 in any series), doesn't mean you quit, you play through the adversity.

Well yeah it doesn't automatically guarantee you a win, though when two teams are so evenly matched, having that extra support from the home crowd is one of those little things that can push a team over the top. I totally buy into players feeding off of their fans. Look at Green's home/away splits this series. He's played like a monster at home, and a scrub away. Now that's a pretty extreme example, but having homecourt advantage usually helps out the role players to play that with more energy, the little lift that some teams need to overcome their opponents.

This was the Warriors' game to lose but Curry and Klay shat the bed. Makes it worse considering Green had a great game.

The refs kind of kept it close by calling fouls against any team making a run. That led to the coin flip situation at the end. I thought Curry played a horrible game and the Warriors should have let him try and get loose much earlier. Kerr kept preaching the smart team play, and in the end both Klay and Curry went into the 4th without a rhythm. The Ezili move was terrible, too. The Warriors definitely deserved to lose and I'm glad they did. The potential snowball effect of the Warriors winning two in a row and LeBron losing two straight in Cleveland would have been bad for the Raptors' chances of ever making it to the FInals anytime soon. Now LeBron will give the Cavs one more year and I'm not convinced they'll be able to repeat their luck. The Warriors may get Durant, but I'm skeptical. They've been humbled and shown weakness. Now they're just another good team. And the cracks in their chemistry are starting to show.

Epic eh, may I suggest few of my fav shows Spartacus, Banshee, and Black Sails all are epic series!

Quick question, which player in your opinion did more damage on Curry factoring both sides (defense and offense), Irving or Westbrook?

It's kind of hard to compare cause individually, I though Westbrook did a better job. However Cleveland played a much stronger team defensive game and limited his open looks. And offensively, Klay was the main defender on both Irving and Westbrook, so tough to say there.
