I don't like the Cavaliers at all, but I don't mind seeing them win like this. Well deserved and a great comeback from being down 2-0 and 3-1.

Lue did a heck of a job coaching in these finals. The Cavs shut down the Warriors guards forcing them to take terrible shots. MVP goes to Green, James, and Irving.

And put up a nice fight doing for such a inexperienced team, makes me feel good about the future. You can tell how much this title means to LeBron right now

Wow!! Gotta respect LeBron man, that dude was real emotional at the end of the game.

But the Cavs as a team still suck though.

Several positives: Cleveland fans can finally stfu about being tortured (though I expect them to be the cockiest winners ever), hopefully they burn their city to the ground, and now Lebron can go to LA with his buddies with his Cleveland legacy secure and open the East up wide.

I know what Woj said, but I'll believe Lebron leaving Cleveland again when I see it.

Hate seeing the Cavs win but man

you live by jumpers, you die by jumpers.

a positive i see is that hopefully this shows players and teams that you don't need to be 3 point trigger happy to win. Also the whole pulling the 3pt line back talk will stop.

Warriors took so many stupid 3's but they been taking those stupid 3's all season long and it finally hurt them in the end.

You don't read Woj for his analysis/articles. The guy has a vendetta against Lebron.

Exactly. So many ill advised 3s and poor decisions on offense by the Warriors. I thought it was bad/stupid basketball for the most part. Frick on a stick, I did not want to see the mistake on the lake hoisting the trophy, but they were definitely hungrier than GS. Oh well, time to dethrone the champs.

When you have a team full of personnel that can shoot 3's, why not? 3 points is more than 2. Cleveland found a way to shut down the other 2 guys that can shoot 3s in Curry and Thompson. They did not capitalize enough to get in the paint and score. Thompson and LeBron made it hard for them.

I don't believe LeBron will leave. He has a free ticket to the finals in Cleveland, while 3-4 contenders in the West have to slug it out. If he wants to win more championships this is the best place for him to do it. Free ride to the finals, damn good 2nd option, and a roster full of quality role players.

Watching the post game stuff again...

The emotional reaction...

Talking about the history of Cleveland (Ohio) teams...

Talking about his team mates...

THIS is a player I can like!

I said if he brought thema championship they'd erect a monument...if this "new" humble Lebron sticks around a while it will be better for his legacy than any title or statue could be

I can see Lebron making a crazy move during the offseason, like dumping KLove for someone better.

I don't see how, but I'd be shocked if KLove stays there as a Cav in the next few years.

Can you believe that SVG and the Pistons had a direct effect on the outcome of the finals?

We tried to trade for D-MO, we succeeded then rescinded it. D-Mo plays against the warriors and douses the court with his back sweat. Steph messes his knee up on the pool of sweat and no longer looks like Steph.

FACT - SVG brought the title to Cleveland
FACT - the NBA will reward us next season
FACT - Pistons 2017 NBA Champions! We did it!!

Yes 3 points is more than 2 points but 3 pointers are a lower percentage shot than 2's tho and yes they have the personnel to shoot 3's but there are gonna be nights where those 3's wont go in either because it's just one of those nights where your cold or because of the opposing defense or a mix of both and when that happens you just can't rely on jumpers, gotta find other/easier ways to score.

But yeah my post was more about the amount of 3's being taken and the type of 3's being taken. It's just a ridiculous amount of shots and Curry taking 3's a couple steps back behind the line with a guy in his face, those are just bad shots, even if he does make them those are still bad shots and bad habits you don't want to keep, he's been doing that all year long and those bad habits finally caught up to him.

Also it just wasn't last nights game, todays game in general is just 3 point happy. I like to see more of a balance game, I miss watching Rip run around and watching skilled big men in the post, but todays game is lacking all that because of the rules, defensive schemes, lack of skilled big men and so on.

But yeah Cavs played great D and just wanted it more, Warriors took terrible / ill advised shots as they do and it finally caught up to them. They just looked shook out there.

IMO you need a multiskilled attack.

1 low post guy
2 hybrid forwards
3 snipers
2 dudes for penetration
1 guy as a shot blocker

That's like a perfect 9 man rotation

GSWs attack is based on the talent they have on their roster. They can't handle the grind it out stuff

Steph and Klay run around screens all the time. Hell, Curry isn't even playing PG anymore, he gives it to Dray at the high post on nearly every possession and they just set down screens for him all day while he curls to a wing 3. Vice versa with Klay.

If the double up on Curry's coverage or they switch a bit too late, then someone is wide open for an easy 3. That's pretty much their game plan, besides PnRs with Draymond.

The only real thing they're missing is the post scoring presence like you mentioned. I feel like Monroe would be a good fit there.

Gregory Monroe needs to get traded to OKC. That's my random thought of the day!

Now back to GTA V!
