if Chicago trades Butler I could see them throwing money at Wade in some type of welcome home marketing scheme. Wade has always wanted to play for the Bulls and his hometown. Lebata Wade Melo join Drose in Chicago for 1 year? not impossible.

unless we trade up for Barrett or trade down for PJ Washington

wade will not take a starting salary of $10m unless maybe one of lebron or durant is joining the team.

Sheer speculation.

There is no way Wade leaves the Heat --- Ever.

He's proud of being one of the few 1 team superstars.
I remember when the Dolphins were perennial contenders

Chicago reminds Wade of his past, which we all know was not pretty. Chicago might actually be one of the least desired places for Wade. Plus that stench of a person Siohvaughn lives there.

When has Wade said this? Between this and the "trade dragic/winslow for rudy gay and wade signs for 5 mil" deal there have been some flat out terrible suggestions made in this thread and the offseason thread. I mean absolutely terrible. I'd rather read more rumors from you guys' friends' brother who works at t-mobile, or maybe Watchout and his non-existent sources will drop something for us to talk about. You guys gotta do better than this

Funny you brought this up, I don't usually like to share rumors I hear unless I'm really 99.99% sure they're accurate, but I got a feeling this one can really come true.

To cut a long story short, a source close to the situation has hinted to a family member I trust that we're going after Blake Griffin as soon as THIS summer. I believe Rich and Dragic are involved, take it for what it's worth, source sais Riley and Blake already met in a high end Rodeo Drive restaurant in LA. Source swore he's not full of BS.

Spoiler:
This is source.

The Golden State Warriors have Whiteside as one of their top options and have the money to go after him hard.

Man hard to see Whiteside not going out west to play on the Warriors team

I would be very happy for him. But they're going to need a backup big in place of Ezeli, unless they want Bogut off the bench.

And they're going to need a sf. Is Hayward available?

Wow :droop:

Iggy can't start at sf over a season. Too old.

I disagree, personally I'd find it hard to see him actually leaving us for them.

Not to mention that the Warriors do not have the cap space to sign him out right. They have somewhere around 11-13mill in cap space. To go after Hassan they'd have to let Barnes and one of Iggy/Livingston go, plus they also lose Festus.

You think the kings of small ball and ball movement will blow up their starting lineup and bench for a non shooting big man who does anything but pass? I doubt it. Portland and Dallas are the teams to worry about, not the Warriors.

I'm not worried about any teams competing for Hassan. We have a max slot just like they do and no state income tax to boot. Plus I truly believe Whiteside and Riley have a loyal relationship going. Can't imagine him stiffing the organization that allowed him to grow.

As expected, GSW's name is used just like ours was used during our championship run. They are interested in every FA and every FA is interested in them. :dontknow:

A 73-9 team which missed a championship by 4 points because Curry wasn't 100%.

They don't even use a center in the majority of close games. Yeah, they will go after Whiteside hard.
