That's too simple. A wise man called Isaac Newton once came with a physics law, F = ma. To accelerate a certain mass a force is needed, if you want a heavier object to undergo the same acceleration a bigger force is needed. There is a fair line between adding available force to your body with workouts and adding to much mass that it will hinder you. There have been plenty of players that added so much weight that they became less mobile, Jonas Valanciunas is player that I'd like to slim a bit more and become more mobile (like his first years in the league)

It's hilarious how dedicated the Lakers are to Ingram, as is they wouldn't have wanted Simmons if they got the first pick. It's borderline delusional.
