This latest round of Middleton to Boston rumors is getting me unnecessarily excited, because there is no chance it would happen.

I'd link the tweets to the Middleton stuff, but it is all over Twitter.

3/Bradley/17 Nets swap.

And I still don't think I'd do it, but that'd be the minimum for me personally.

Yeah, this will most likely open a big discussion and I apologize if this isn't the place for it but I think Middleton gets a little overrated on these boards. The upgrade from Bradley to Middleton is not worth a number 3 pick and another top five pick in a even better draft next season. I understand Bucks fans love Middleton but he's being given the same value as a guy like Butler here, maybe even more. Both players are great defenders that general are assisted on most baskets on offense, Bradley is also cheaper the next couple of years, both are very good role players. Yes I understand it would take a lot to trade Middleton, but C's fan also have to defend their players when they don't believe they're getting the fair end of the discussion.

I didn't mean to imply it wasn't an overpay. It's definitely an overpay. If I were the GM, that's what it'd cost you. And I'd be nervous doing it.

Edit to add: I would not trade Middleton for Butler either. I think Butler is the better player, but he's injury prone and I don't see that getting better with age.

Legit source?

My thought is Philly would still need to add a little value to get the 3rd pick. What about Noel and #26 to Boston for #3?

Not particularly. But it makes sense as a fun guess, I mean Noel offers a lot that fits what the team needs.

He is the guy that had Embiid at 300+ pounds and chugging shirley temples by the pitchers, which has led to the great

Honestly, at this stage, I have no clue about the value of Noel or Okafor.
And I have a lot of doubts about the value of the #3 pick in this draft: I mean, It's seems like everyone in lottery are sellling their picks :D

I found interesting that after all the talks about Okafor to Celtics, the real target could be Noel.
But I don't know if this source is legit.

You do realize its Conangelo making the decisions for Philly, right? Would you trade Middleton straight up for Noel? Because quite a few posters feel the 3rd pick is fair value for Khris. You also have to factor in how much Philly values Dunn if he is their target at #3.

Just curious. Do you think Noel for 3 is fair value?

Who ahead would want to trade quality for quantity? Any ideas?

I'd think BOS, PHO and MIN are happy with their warchest. NOP, maybe? IND?

Toronto, but 24 and 26 is a light offer for 9

Picks #24 and #26 isn't going to return #9, I'd say that gets something in the #18-20 range.

Memphis for VC and 17.

For the Sixers I'd like it, I would understand the Celtics wanting more, although I'm not sure what they would want.

Middleton has more value than the third pick in this draft, imo, I don't believe it's really that close.

I wonder if Grant or Holmes would be enough of a sweetener to get it done.

Not sure what we could get for him but it sounds like he's available and teams are calling...

3 and 16 for Noel, 24, and 26

Let Boston figure out how to roster them all. To be fair, I also don't quite get the apparent fascination with Dunn and would rather keep Noel. If we were talking about getting Murray and trading Okafor the cost is somewhat less IMO.

Asking for 16 feels pretty greedy.

And I don't disagree, I just would rather not trade Noel so would want to be overpaid. I still think if there is a deal it will just be 3 for Okafor, and I think most fans on both sides will end up okay with that.

I don't know about other teams, but I'd put good money on Presti wanting to kick the tires on him. Fits the profile of some of his recent trades (next year RFA, underachieving) and fits a team need.

Dallas had interest at the deadline and still should now. But all we can do is either the Matthews for Koufos/McLemore deal that was well received. Or maybe Devin Harris for Ben/Tuff Juice ?

I have been of the opinion that McLemore doesn't get traded unless it is part of a bigger deal and I think the "not necessarily connected to picks" part of Howard-Cooper's tweet possibly shows that the Kings FO agrees. I just don't see the point in trading him for a low first/late second. But if it is part of a deal that nets you a useful rotation player, you have to trade him.

i wouldnt trade middleton for noel. i wouldnt trade middleton for 3. i wouldnt trade noel for 3, unless i had okafor, embiid, and noel on my team in which case id entertain it.
