It's over for the league.

Might be over for KP, too :o

I've never seen someone get so hyped while they were out injured. People forget how raw this kid was coming out of college and he hasn't played basketball in 2 years.

All this hype is hilarious .

Can't say I didn't warn you guys :D

Should make a run at this Thon Maker kid.

Take a shot at getting the next Garnett/Durant hybrid.

Yeah, make a run and then head fake and pick somebody else. That guy should be nicknamed Black Kleenex. SO SOFT.

If he's available in the late 1st round or 2nd round, why not take a shot at him? He'd be a project like Gianiss. The difference is we have Phil and Jeff now, and our players are going to get developed properly.

How do you feel about Tim Quarterman? I don't see his name on many mocks. You couldn't help but notice him while watching LSU this year though.

Stylistically, yeah, he'd be kind of like those players. A guy who can play on the perimeter, shoot, good court vision, can rebound, has a good motor and is coachable. He just needs to develop an NBA body, much like KP.

Second round, sure. I wouldn't complain about that.

If you Thon Maker is a Durant/Garnett hybrid... then, KP must be a Dream/Duncan hybrid.

Only, you know...better.

I swear man, it's sh*t like that which gives us Knicks fans a bad rap on GB & the rest of RGM.

Any predictions on who we actually walk away with Thursday night?

I'll say we draft both Yogi Ferrell and Isaiah Whitehead.

I'm not sure if players we'd come away with (just so many options and ways we could go).

But, I could definitely see us landing a pick around #20 and a 2nd Rounder (or two).

I also wouldn't be surprised if we got an NBA player or two as well.

everything about us getting a pick is still pure speculation, right?

mostly based on the viewing party and such?

By all of the chatter and Phil even mentioning it, I'd say it's as close to being likely as possible

His jumpshot is beyond broke and although he can handle he makes a ton of bad decisions with the ball, I see the tools but doubt he ever puts it together.

interesting that they're throwing a draft viewing party with no picks. Does anyone think they'd trade ROLO for a lottery pick? I can't see a reason to have this event just for a 2nd rounder

I'll say we draft both Yogi Ferrell and Isaiah Whitehead.

Jodie Meeks and #18
For Jose and Kyle and two future seconds.

Detroit needs a solid vet back up to Reggie and overall they have enough talent; not enough leadership. Kyle is as good as anyone they'll get at 18 and he has a great contract.

Meeks is a gunner. Streaky but kinda fits the mold that both Phil and Horny could appreciate.

With #18 we snag Tim Luwahu.
We buy #35 from Boston and draft Brice Johnson.
We sign George Niang and Michael Gbinijie as UDFAs

Return to New York Knicks
