crazy thought, but do you think the Timberwolves would trade Wiggins for #4 and TJ? or just #4

Can't decide if I'd rather have him than one of the guards at this point. Probably not though. I do like shooters. I like defense, but I also like passing and shooting.

Their fans wouldn't want to. If you read the trade forum or Minnesota board, they wouldn't trade Wiggins straight up for Butler. But Thibs may be a different story. It would be hard for the FO to stomach trading Wiggins I bet though.

He also said he thinks the Suns will take Chriss if the Suns keep the pick.

Dunn @ 4= trade
No Dunn @4= Chriss :nonono:

Dunn better be available at 4!

They will CONSIDER trade, meaning if they get a young stud or some kind of really nice package from someone like the Kings maybe. I'm guessing they won't get what they would be looking for.

Yeah. Not looking good. Wasn't a fan of the Len pick. Won't be a fan of this pick (Chriss). Will definitely sour me on McD & the front office. Booker is great. But, less hits than misses imo.

Edit: You have to hit on top 5 picks.

I edited that post....that's their fans. Thibs is probably a different story, so I think it's a possibility. The fans don't even want to trade 5 and LaVine for him.

Hell nah. They wouldn't even give up Wiggins for Butler. TJ is like a rich man's Shabazz.

The problem with Chriss is his mentality, passion and feel for the game. The guy seems not very coachable, he argued with the refs a ton after his fouls, bad body language on the court...

Like a fan that I always have loved professional and high character players like Nash and Grant Hill that Chriss guy gives me a bad feeling.

Warren was a hit. No one after him looks better. Probably Hood so far, but he passed him up twice (taking Ennis ahead of him too). I'm pretty sure we liked Hood too.

Jokic looks better but he went 41. Maybe Nurkic, but he wasn't going to take either of those guys a year after taking Len. I think Warren was the right pick.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but ever since McD has taken over as GM of the Suns -- Gambo has never been on point with anything on trades/draft picks?

Any thought of them trading back few spots?

Absolutely possible. There could be a deal that allows them to gain an asset, slide back and still draft a target.

Paul Coro confirms what Gambo said.

He has been totally off on free agents. He has been okay with draft picks and got better the past year with trades. I remember he mentioned last offseason the three players he expected who might get traded were Bullock, Marcus, and Granger. All three ended up getting traded together soon after that. So his information has gotten a little better recently. Plus, he is the only guy with any kind of real inside information on the Suns in Phoenix so there is not much else to compare him to.

On the Burns and Gambo poll on twitter, Murray is winning, with Bender in 2nd slightly ahead of Chriss. Hield a distant 4th. Quite a bit different than here, though I doubt a significant portion of the voters have watched as many videos or read as many analysis pieces as those here...

The perfect option to trading back is the Kings at #8. We can draft one of Chriss, Bender, Hield or Murray for sure (because Boston is probably to draft Brown) and those four are our targets.

Probably a future protected pick is enough for McDonough or a good role player like Belinelli.

Agreed McD is no yoda, vastly overrated. Most of his picks haven't defied conventional wisdom, he has yet to unearth a diamond in the rough in the late first/secound, and has no overseas track record. He has royally screwed the pooch in ever other department, his supposed scouting prowess is the only reason he still has a job.I would say Olshey,Lindsey, Tim Connelly are just as good drafters if not better.

I think I would rather trade Knight straight up for the 8th pick. Then the Suns could potentially draft two of those guys while alleviating the dual point guard issue. That would also open up more cap space for free agents.
