We need to make a move before free agency. We need to make a splash to get a good free agent. Thursday the day we need a bold move. I don't like this slow build I want to be a contender now. It's time we need talent now.

Can you remember how many on this board wanted us to draft him and were so pained we didn't get a top 3 pick? That was only a year ago. My, how things have changed.

i was big on Russ and i still like him i dont see him as a bust he had a fairly good season just a slow start.

I agree. Don't know about the hybrid KG/KD thing but he's a very intelligent and unselfish player, with excellent length and mobility, a high motor and serviceable J. He's rail thin and may not be able to put on much weight as he matures. I think he's gonna be a very good pro once the expectations come back down to earth. But pairing he and KP upfront could be special for the future.

In a perfect world we walk away Thursday night with he and a guard (Richardson, Brogdon, Gbnjie, Luwahu, Forkmaz, Courdinier, etc). Then bring in an undrafted FA like Niang, Josh Adams (check this kid out if you haven't already), Bryn Forbes or Dorian Finney-Smith.

Hurry up Thursday.

Awesome, I think Caris Lavert is a nice sneaky late pick

I love his game, but he can't stay healthy.

No chance Levert can be the Middleton of this year's draft?

Thanks for the defense :D Of course, he's not going to score like KD or be as impactful so quickly. But the guy is freaking 7 feet tall with length, mobility, and ball/perimeter skills and shooting ability. Who else am I going to compare him to, stylistically? Also, like BLACKFEET mentioned, his intelligence, motor, and unselfishness along with his size and versatility...there's definitely some KG potential there. He could be a real good player 5-6 years from now, along with All-Star KP...the sort of versatile, multiple position player that thrives in the modern NBA.

Healthy he's way better than Middleton was in college. But Middleton had knee surgery, not 3 foot fractures.

All is forgiven if Layden can make an up and rising team like the TWolves suck big time to push KAT to sign with us after his rookie contract is up.
