Here is some draft & trade info update :

76ers : Are trying to get our 8th as the Bulls are in deals were we get our future rights back & we move down in the draft to gain our future right back .

I think some kind of deal where Sacramento gets all of their picks back via Philly for the 24/26 to 8 upgrade then send 24/26 to Chicago for their pick back makes a lot of sense for the Kings. Long term, this is a weak draft and 8th overall isn't nearly as valuable as having their future back, it helps if Cousins doesn't work with Joerger and they need to deal him for a rebuild and helps overall with their management approach.

Exactly. So why should Boston this time trade their top 5 pick for Noel who can't hold Rays jockstrap. Because "it's a 2 person draft"???? Baloney.

By the way the answer was 1992, Shaq and Zo went 1-2 that year and were the two best. Hasn't happened since. I'm open to Boston dealing the third pick for the right price for a true star player, Noel, Saric and a laker pick that could be anywhere from 4-24 doesn't fit that label.

I don't subscribe to this silly notion that if its not for Simmons and Ingram that the third pick is equal to a sofa on the side of the road.

The offer wasn't a sofa, it was Noel Saric and a pik with a shot at being number 1.

I was under the impression that the pick was top 3 protected? If so then there is no chance that the pick becomes number 1. So for me you have 3/Bradley for Noel/Saric with the pick as a wildcard. It could be pick 4 or it could be pick 24. I already stated I wouldn't do this from the Philly side due to the theory that LA may be just as bad next year, although i disagree with that opinion I understand it. If LA really wanted to tank again then why fire Scott? You have no better tank commander out there unless you think that low of Walton and his work in golden state.

If the LA pick were to come in at 4 then it's a steal by Boston, if it were late lotto then it's a pretty even trade and if it's in the 15-25 range it's a win for philly.

Right, and that's exactly why Philly wouldn't do it. Those future picks are more valuable.

Maybe not against any ToS, but derailing a thread intended to be for random rumors, into an unnecessary and annoying to read back and forth. Take it elsewhere, please? I'm sure there's been at least 35 Boston-Philly trade threads on here. One of them should suffice

Sounds like a plan. Especially since Simmons and Saric (in situations) can play the 3. But I don't think they're changing roster limits to 20.
