I think he could be a real steal in this draft. He's a versatile big man. We can't have enough of those with our lineup. He reminds me of Brandon Wright. Wright would've thrived in the right system. That's how I see Brice.

At 9, we need a guy like Sabonis/Skal or anyone that drops out of top 8. If we get any of them + Brice Johnson or Diamond Stone at 27, we have an awesome future to look forward to. This draft can help to solidify our front-court. There's guys there that can make the difference for us. We have an awesome back-court, we just need to strengthen the bigs along-side Valanciunas.

Stone at 27 I really like but he will get D leagued. My preference is to make the moves to retain Biz. Whether they will do that I'm not so sure. If he goes there are excellent options that are not projects in this draft.

I think he could be the pick if it comes out of left field.

I love Baldwin too! I'd be so down if we didn't have 3 point guards already. He is pretty much a younger more athletic Dwright with a 3 point shot.

Always BPA! Always always always.

Fitting in good talent is easy, teams change constantly.

Drafting Araujo is bad.

The BPA always mantra sounds nice in theory but in practice you to have to consider other things as well such as fit and the potential to develop the player. Should the Celtics draft a power forward with each of their 8 picks?

I know. But one of the weirdest cases for "fit" is picking a guy for a position of need today who has no established record in college because in three years he "might" be a fit with Valancuinas. We have to be precise about what kind of realistic fit we are talking about. Yes, picking a swing guard just isn't likely and there are actually flaws to be found in Baldwin's game. Handle and creating offence. I will say the upside mantra in this draft pool sounds far more lame than BPA. If anything BPA saves a team from wasting a pick.

Yes. However, scouts and GMs are saying he is showing much more toughness and willingness to bang down low than he ever did at Kentucky. Obviously it's only workouts against guys with bags lol, but I'm curious to see what this guy does in a 5 on 5 environment where he is allowed to show off his skills. I honestly believe the guy will thrive in the NBA. Not saying he will be a superstar or anything like that.

Celebrate

If Masai and the entire front office team see enough in him to take him at nine they saw enough in him to think he might reach that potential. Masai seems like the last guy that would be swayed by his early hype.

The kid has an elite combination of body, skill and athleticsm and is more than likely the only player on the board that could be putting us over the top into next level. If in another couple years he's not reaching his full potential I could easily envision him being a high end energy big like biyombo.

Those wanting skal on potential should be begging for Thon.

Are scouts and gm's saying that or is John Calipari saying scouts and gm's are saying that? And why couldn't he earn more minutes for Cal? Why couldn't he help his team win at the college level if he's an NBA talent, why does his stock fall the more he plays. Is he coming out now just to keep his stock from going lower?

Are you being real Boogie? Why would they trade for a free agent, and we couldn't trade him anyway as he's opted out. Why trade for a guy that you can get with your capspace?

Who said DeMar is better than ANY of them? His all star selection is due to him playing for Toronto and nothing more imo. Even his team USA selection was due to paul George injury and people withdrawing. All in all I'll take all four over DeMar. He's extremely overrated on this board.

Sorry. Just don't see it with Skal.....no more soft bigs. That's the old us......

Give me sabonis, a guy who will bang and has a mean streak.

He is currently better than Middleton and Parker but i would take them over DD as they are obviously going to improve. He is in a similar tier as Hayward. Anyways he is a FA.

Have a feeling BOS goes Brown or Hield at their pick.

Would not be surprised if Bender drops to us with SAC knowing very little about him and all accounts show they r going off the board. And really - what are they going to do with another big? Seems like Vlade and Vivek would reach and go with the guys they've fell in love with.

Simmons
Ingram
Hield/Brown
Chriss
Dunn
Murray
Brown/Hield
Baldwin/Sabonis
Bender

... Boom. Home Run draft for us
