At least we will have all of our first rounders after this draft. Can't remember the last time that happened. Praise be to Phil.

It's a great read.

Ben Simmons, 6'10" freshman forward, LSU: "I would take him first. He's a transcendent player because of his size and his ability to play multiple positions. Shooting is a concern, but that kind of size and skill set doesn't come along very often. There were a lot of things going on with his teammates at LSU. There's no denying he has a big sense of self-entitlement. He's got an aloofness to him that is concerning. The LSU thing was just a s--- show. There was too much allowed to happen. You had a film crew following him around all year. Whatever the concerns, he had one of the most successful college seasons we've seen in recent years. You wonder if he ends up like [Knicks forward] Carmelo Anthony, someone who's a great player but not a winning player."

I'd love to walk away from this draft with Felder and Whitehead. Have them battle it out.

I'd love Felder. Not sure Phil will take a little guard.if we do , we absolutely need a Big 6'7 Vet 3&d wing player

AWESOME passer. From high and low block. He has a heart condition, though.

Looks like a very good passer. I don't remember watching any Louisville games this year so I don't know much other than the footage provided on youtube, but he looks like a very good passer. Much better as a prospect than KOQ. Super athletic, energetic, good footwork in the post, good form on his jumper and very fluid, protects the basket, finishes strong. Reminds me a little of Myles Turner.

It's a great read.

I think a lot of this article shows you how scouts don't know **** Says diamond stone is a cross between Bynum and Randolph, great scorer and poor defensive player then says he is a lavoy allen type of player? wtf does that mean. Also wonder if all scouts focus as heavily on the negative aspects of a player as this guy

Louisville center Chinanu Onuaku is undergoing minor heart surgery in Chicago on Tuesday to correct a heart rhythm issue that was discovered during the NBA combine.

Onuaku was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome, an ailment that causes a rapid heartbeat. He described the procedure as "minor" in a statement released through Louisville.

"After an extensive physical with the NBA doctors over the last few days, they noticed a situation that will require a minor procedure that will keep me off of the court for approximately seven to 10 days." Onuaku said. "After the seven- to 10-day window, I will be ready to start my workouts again in pursuit of my NBA dreams."

Slightly off topic in terms of scouting reports, but the following is SI's draft grade for the KP pick. Overall point is, these "experts" are nothing of the sort, save for a few credible journalists. I like the part about KP not doing "anything" at the NBA level for at least 2 years. More like 2 minutes of his first game:

KRISTAPS PORZINGIS
FORWARD | LATVIA | AGE: 19
MANNIX'S GRADE: C+
First, Kristaps Porzingis can play. He’s an incredibly skilled, perimeter-oriented big man who can stretch the floor and make the mid-range jump shot. He’s at least two years away from doing anything at an NBA level, but if developed right he could be a franchise player. But there are legitimate concerns in Porzingis’s camp about how he will handle the pressure of New York, and he won’t help a team desperately trying to maximize the last few years of Carmelo Anthony’s contract. If the Knicks are patient, they could have a star. If not, they could ruin a promising prospect.

I think a free agent like Evan Turner would be a good guy to pair up with Felder. They would compliment each other well.
