Greek Reports: Bucks interested in Papagiannis
According to greek NBA reporter the Bucks and many other teams are very interested into Papagiannis after an amazing workout he had at Temple center.
The 18 years old CENTER couldnt miss shoot after shoot and was knocking 3s non stop, all that while adding a 60%+ FT made.
The young Greek Center suddenly got interest from many teams beside Bucks ( Denver, Kings,Detroit,Atalanta,Dallas and Chicago are the few of them) which consider him a sleeper.
Apparently the Bucks asked Giannis to bring him in contact with the player and coaches and ask more info about him.
This info comes from a very reputable NBA Hellas ( official NBA site for Greece) Nikos papaioanou.
here is the article in Greek, if you guys need more info i can translate more.

Very interesting, the kid surely got talent but is very raw and i never heard a center at 18 years old lol.
What do you guys think ?

I would love Papagiannis with our 2nd rounder.

Me too but after his workout he is projected to be a late pick at worst.
he was mock drafted at 35 according to reports but he seems to grab a lot of interest after his last workout.

Good thing we've got 36 & 38 to try and get into the late 1st round.

That sounds so great. But when has Hammond ever pulled that off? Seems like in this draft he's going to draft someone at 36 and punt the 38th pick to another team for a 2017 2nd round pick.

Reminds me of when he drafted Hobson, Gallon, and Jordan. He flipped Jordan for cash, I believe.

Hammond already mentioned it's unlikely we make both of those picks.
I'm hoping Zanik has a positive influence on our decision making this offseason

No offence but i cant take seriously a reporter who claims Papagiannis could be into the Draft's Top 10. This shows the reporter doesnt even respect his own readers.
Dont get me wrong. I like Papagiannis and i believe he has potential. But this claim is totally ridiculous.

its a stretch, he said he can go from low 30s to top 10 since the Kings ( with 8th pick) are interested in him.
Let be hones ti do not believe he will be in top 10 but i do not see impossible in this draft and some may be willing to gamble.,

Nickname potential alone makes this guy a must have.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.
Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

I miss Tiny Gallon.

I'm in favor of this move...gives us another guy with length, leadership ability & will help us defend the village if an old man & his cat try to kidnap any of our crew.

Re: Greek Reports: Bucks interested in Papagiannis
There was also this report 3 weeks ago : https://behindthebuckpass.com/2016/05/29/nba-draft-2016-prospect-watch-georgios-papagiannis/
I don't know how good his Temple workout was , maybe the article (the greek one on the first post) exaggerates a bid, despite being from a good source it says that people talk even for a Top-10 pick
.
Had Papagiannis chiose not to sign to Panathinakos a couple of years ago and went to Kentucky, St.John or any of the other colleges that wanted him. It would have been a different story.

I just want to be able to say "don't talk to Papagiannis or his son Giannis ever again." Pull the trigger Hammond.
