If Okafor and Len can work together offense/defense I'm for it. Okafor needs to get his act together though we all know he's a prolific offensive talent.

Bledsoe Booker Okafor Len is a solid young core. Pull the trigger McD

If they trade for Okafor they should trade chandler for a bag of balls to a contender looking to use up its cap space. Hell they should look to do that even if they don't aquire Okafor.

It's not his strength, but he may be the best rebounder in this draft. start from there

I'm hoping for one of two things with #4...

If philly deals with Boston for Dunn then we swap #4 for DRussel and proceed to trade Bledsoe for a quality SF ....

Or we make the philly/oka4 swap

BTW.... Who is are the defensive PFs in this draft?

Most all of the defenders are fairly or very raw. Bender, Skal, Davis. Davis is probably the best interior defender right now and Bender the best at switching and guarding the perimeter. Skal best at shot blocking. Sabonis probably a smart defender but low upside on that end due to not having good length.

I would probably do it but I think there is very little chance that is happening.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Looks like Jefferson. Good scorer but plays on the ground. Most truly dominant big men are either 7 feet or taller and/or super athletic for their position. Okafor is neither. I doubt anyone is ever going to confuse him for Kareem, Olajuwon, or Shaq.

So, with reports saying Celts can't find a trade partner for #3, I'm assuming they have high chances of drafting Bender.

I don't buy the love for Brown or Murray that's been leaked.

Yeah, I kind of feel the same way. Though I don't know why he'd bluff on who he might pick since the first two picks are a foregone conclusion.

Lazy comp,Jah is arguably already as good as Big Al ever was he could be Boogiesque. Prime Big Al was a bettter rebounder/ shooter and could hit turnarounds, but Jah is a better man defender/rim protector and a more willing passer/less of a blackhole. Jah doesn't shy away from contact and can get to the line and is more skilled in the post. He has the nimble footwork of a ballerina, a counter to every move in his limitless arsenal that he was adding new ones nightly, the perfect balance between sheer power and finesse. He incorporates fakeouts, step throughs and reverse palms the ball leading up to a drive n spin

He could be bluffing in order to have other teams that want those players (hoping they slip) to call and offer stuff for them. No real reason to let it be known who you actually prefer.

Yeah, but the Suns are not saying a word, so basically, no matter who you want, you'd need to trade ahead of the Suns if you think there is a chance they might take him or that someone else might trade for #3 to take Dunn.

All signs point to Marquese Chriss right now. During the Draft Media Day today he said that he hopes to go to the Suns and that we are the only team he went to visit.

Big Al could rebound from day 1, IIRC...

Hardly an outrageous claim, Im talking about as scorers. It took Big Al l 3 years to start producing at a level even approaching rookie Jah. Jah has red flag but his offensive game immediately translated and he is inearly unsotppable finishing in the restricted area, with a 67% conversion rate. Steadily improved between 3 and 10 feet as wl, he has an even softer touch aroudn hte cup. But Jah's advanced stats much like Booker are god awful, Big Al actually palyed on playoff teams with NBA caliber point guards

Those guards would be hell for 48 mins a game!

Edit: actually not bad

Bled-Dragic-Thomas didn't teach you anything? :D

Nobody is playing out of position and we don't have a three Point (guard) line-up and if so it will be Bledsoe, Buddy, and Booker. A PG with two SG's as it should be.

Well now we know chriss won't be the pick. Suns are firmly against players who want to play here :)

Might as well pencil Dunn in now or a vet who will be pissed he was traded here and will look to get out (Hayward).

Hey, Chriss WANTS to be here!! Good sign. He also knows we suck at PF and if he can show some defensive acumen early on, he will get major playing time.

Because Big Al is a better rebounder ;)

Seriously, I don't think some of you realize how bad on the glass Okafor was last year. He ranked 45th in rebound rate among 47 centers to play at least 500 minutes last season. Low post scoring is very useful but I want my center first and foremost to rebound and protect the rim. Okafor does neither of those things.
