This.

Might be hard to pry him from the clutches of Cuban... But we've done it before. Didn't he play with Tyson? Much rather big money to him than HBarnes

Parsons is a really good player. However, the only thing that would prevent me from wanting the Suns to sign him is his health. This seems like a red flag:

"This marks the second consecutive year that Parsons' season ends prematurely because of surgery on his right knee. However, sources told ESPN earlier this week that this injury is not nearly as severe as the cartilage damage he suffered last season that was repaired with a hybrid microfracture procedure on May 1."

There's a difference between thinking Jabari is a good player. and thinking he's 3 first-round picks good.

Agreed thats too much to give up, but this was actually what some of the board believes. Would take that Jazz deal in a hearbeat but they are gifting away two core pieces for pennies on the dollar

Oh I see. I see Jabari as a bit of a tweener too, but I don't see TJ as a better prospect than him as much as I like TJ.

I wouldn't mind Hayward if they'd take the 4 & 13 or so, but selling the farm for a guy who will be an Unrestricted FA in the next off season without a guarantee that he re-signs could set us even further back if he bolts. I like Favors though and wouldn't mind bringing him in, and if TJ can continue to develop his 3-point shot and perimeter game then I don't think spacing will be as much of an issue as people seem to think around here. If Len can actually start to make some of those mid-range jumpshots, that would help too.

I like the idea of bringing on Parsons except I can't imagine he'd want less than the absurd amount he got from Cuban. Doesn't feel like the best use of cap space, although to be fair we probably won't be able to sign any really attractive FA outright.

If Parsons is willing to sign a 1 or 2 year deal (for that absurd amount) we could have him come off the books and chase after 2017/2018 free agents which look much more promising than 2016.

Would you guys trade Knight for Monroe if that deal was on the table?

At the least, it'd get us out of Knights long contract. But it'd also fill a need and allow us to draft a guard instead of a PF

I don't think Bucks would take back Knight. They took MCW over him..

Man. Suns fans need to get over their negative obsession with Knight. He is an asset. Knight for Monroe is frying pan to fire stuff.

What need? Monroe is exclusively a center. And Knight's contract isn't bad at all.

I don't know if yall heard Woj's podcast yesterday, but he said that Boston and Phoenix are gonna be chasing veterans this summer, and Phoenix in particular is under pressure to get back to the playoffs. He also said they're not gonna be able to land an all star in a trade for the third or fourth pick....

Welp.

Utah must be unimpressed with whoever they thought would be available at number 12 if they traded their pick for a 30 year old George Hill.

I'm surprised Jazz took Hill over Teague.

George Hill would be really nice get for them, fits their philosophy. You think whichever guard they take a flier on in the late lotto has a reasonable good chance to have a better career?

Doesn't Teague only have 1 year left until he's an unrestricted FA? Maybe he wouldn't re-sign in Utah.

They both have the same contracts - $8M expiring next summer.
