This trade is unbelievable. And now the rumblings about Dwightmare coming to NY make me think that may be a reason why Rolo was included. I can't believe this is Phil Jackson doing this. This has to be Mills.....

Too long of a contract leads to injury risk. The other Centers I listed were insurance/backup.

Yes they were. He was a consistent (and efficient) scorer, could hit a FT, was our defensive anchor even with turnstiles at PG, was a GREAT teammate, was a great rotating big, and held opposing players to 48% at the rim (WHICH IS ELITE). Yes, he really was that valuable. Add what he provided to the team with the insane value we had him at for the next few years and Phil really screwed the pooch trading RoLo for a BAD PG.
