Hmm well that Cavs fan said they wouldn't trade Love until it was certain Lebron would be staying...

Love (via Lue) and Lebron (via his nods) both staying in Cleveland, per reporters on Twitter.

Adrian Wojnarowski ‏@WojVerticalNBA "Knicks and Bulls are in advanced talks on a deal to send Derrick Rose to New York, sources tell @ShamsCharania and me."

Knicks comedy writes itself. Of course they want Rose! What could go wrong???

Rose getting traded means that Butler is off the table.

Maybe not if they are going full rebuild? I mean, I don't see Butler and... Lopez leading them to a title. Maybe they trade Butler for #3 and go with a foundational point guard like Dunn? (Yes, this all hope talking here.)

Such a hot mess in NY right now. Are they still running the triangle?

What a weird 3 team trade with the Jazz / Hawks / Pacers.

I like Teague better than Hill but if you already have Monta Ellis and need a guy to play off the ball and give you defense Hill is a much better fit than Teague.

The Jazz prefered to grab Hill over Teague which is a poor choice.

The Hawks just really wanted to dump Teague. 12th pick isn't a bad return but not exactly good. Chances of picking a bust there are pretty high.

Jimmy Butler is a cold-blooded MF. It's also obviously clear he isn't going anywhere. CHI is his team.

He very well could stay there but I don't see anything in his post that would lead you to think that. If anything he's showing solidarity with Rose and not Chicago.

What are the Bulls trying to do? Are they planning on rebuilding on the fly around Jimmy Butler or are they gonna tear it down? Their team honestly sucks atm with such a poor PG rotation and the rest of the roster mostly comprised of rookie-types or over the hill players. Having Jimmy Butler still on their team tho will make them semi competitive tho, a bit like Paul George atm or Carmelo the past few years, stopping them from getting a high pick

As far as I understand Turkish using translator, Jan Vesely is talking with Nets, Mavs and Pels about a contract cca 30 mil. for 3 years.

He has found a niche in Europe as a small-ball center, but he still can't shoot to save his life. In Euroleague final game which his team lost in OT he shot 1/10 on FTs.

 No shot of the Triangle.

I really don't think it's a bad trade for NYK. Grant is unproven, Jose is terrible. Lopez is good, but he's not irreplaceable? Esp with the limited pg options & good bigs this FA period.

It's not like Derrick Rose is terrible. He's still getting 16-5-3. A year with any major injuries must feel good for him.

I think if he can basically did what he did last year (+ play more games), it's a great deal for NYK. He's gonna be a third option, so his %'s should be better. They should average 55 + between the 3 of them.

I think Justin Holiday is not just a throw in. The kid can play. Solid 3&D guy.

Rose - Holiday - Melo - Porzingis - O'Quinn +30mil to sign a starting center & fill out the bench. & If he fails, well then just don't resign next year. & If it works out then they're in the playoffs next year.
