Zhou Qi it is. Thanks for playing.
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Zhou Qi? Seriously guys? 218 lb. Zhou Qi? He'll be a contributor about the time that Curry is ready to retire...for some other team.
The hottest of takes...

Since our Gm stated yesterday that they will look for a guy who can play right away, it boggles my mind that our fans here picked Zhou effing Qi. Lol
He might turn out to be good. We shall see.

Not a fan of Zhou Qi as a fit at all from what I've read.

I'm cool with Brogdon, who is really strong and a leader.
Jared Uthoff - 6'10" with 3 point range.
Zhou Qi? Really folks? Wang Zi Zi......amongst other long reaches.
Kylie, I have to admit that I don't know much about Bembry..... Looks like he'd be undersized as a SF, isn't even 6'6" in shoes..... Is he "Draymond-ish", in that he's a non-conventional fit for his position, but just has basketball skill and "want"?
If I don't have anything funny to say, can I still have a signature?

Bembry at 30 is probably a steal for us. I actually see him getting some minutes off the bench for us this coming season. He maybe the only one on the bench according to some who think we are gutting this team for Durant.

I love his feel for the game. He's more Iguodala than Draymond. Great creator. Makes the right pass often. Uncanny knack for making the right play. Good slasher and scoring s all kinds of ways. Shoots from range, but needs to take better shots ( which he would for us). He had to do a lot for St. Joseph's. He wouldn't have that pressure with us.
The things is, he's moved up some of the draft board's since teams have got a closer look at him. So it seems much like my love for Valentine, the NBA has caught on and moved these guys up.

I doubt Bembry and Prince are around when we draft. That is why I am leaning toward Zhou Qi as long term Hail Mary project.
I go for buying a early 2nd round for Malcolm Brogdon.

I haven't watched a lot of these guys play, but based on the write-ups, Stephen Zimmerman seems like he'd be a great fit for us. Only real problem (and it is a problem) is he lacks physicality that you want to see to do battle with the likes of KAT, Cousins, etc.
I don't know, we really need a C, but drafting a C at the end of the first round is such a gamble, plus they could take years to develop (or take up a roster spot before flaming out). I'd probably opt for a wing instead.

Strengths: Possesses a very solid skill set and high basketball IQ that will allow him to eventually be impactful in the NBA ... True 7-footer with 7’3” wingspan that can put it on the floor, block shots, and willing passer that looks to make plays for others ... Has great touch around the basket with a decent hook shot with his left hand ... Solid player in halfcourt situations. Very unselfish with high-level passing ability and decision-making ... Great feel for the game with solid offensive skill set ... Decent athlete that plays hard with high motor that can defend multiple pick-and-roll situations and has demonstrated the ability to recover in defensive situations ... High energy player that can get up and down the floor and create open shots in transition ... Mobile for a big man with ability to play the 4 and 5 positions ... Can also play as a stretch 4 at next level due to above average mobility and good midrange shooting ability ... Has the ability to put the ball on the floor and create shots and drive from the high to mid-post regions of the floor ...
