Jaylen Brown should be moved from Wouldn't Mind to Want and Guerschon Yabusele should be added to Want, Jacob Poeltl should be moved a category ahead, Denzel Valentine should be moved a category below and guys like Sabonis, Baldwin, Stone and Gracin Bakumanya are guys I forgot to add but they're also in the "Wouldn't Mind" category. Also forgot to add Ivica Zubac and Juan Hernangomez who should be in the "Worried About" category.
Been doing this on the BlueJays board since 2013 and was terrified to post here until this year but I realized that this method that I use combined with traditional scouting and analytics was for real when coming out of high school, AJ Puk was a guy on my radar and had him in the "Wouldn't Mind" category. He didn't sign out of high school and three years later, he was projected by many to be the top pick of the 2016 MLB Draft leading up into the last 2 weeks. He ended up going 6th Overall to the Oakland Athletics. One trait that I've noticed is that guys in "Want" category are guys that I've projected to be either superstars or perennial all star players, the guys in the "Wouldn't Mind" category are guys that would be guys that can sneak into a couple of NBA all star games/are above average NBA starters, guys in the "Worried About/Hesitant About Taking" category are guys with question marks whether it be health etc. even though they could project to be perennial all stars (Dunn) or guys that will be fringe starters/backups and the "Terrence Ross Clones/Stay Away From" category are guys that I think will be busts for whatever reason. Here's my final list heading into tomorrow's draft.
