Can't see DEN having any interest in this honestly.

I actually agree but maybe we can sell them on Gay/Ben for Chandler than bring Ryan Anderson home and sign Eric Gordon to a short term prove it deal.

Gordon/Chandler/Anderson and we instantly become a great shooting team.

Only Gay is a better shooter without the injury concerns.

I don't get the movement to push Rudy out the door. Still a solid vet who can work here provided he can't be moved for significantl value (and I'm no sure he can)

Not sure what we could get for him but it sounds like he's available and teams are calling...

I believe the Suns would be great trade partners with us because they have PG's and the #4 pick. We need a PG and covet Hield.

Here's my idea:

Kings trade: #8 pick, Rudy Gay, Kosta Koufos, Marco Belinelli, Ben McLemore, and Caron Butler
Kings receive: #4 pick, Eric Bledsoe, PJ Tucker, Tyson Chandler, and #34 pick

Kings get their PG in Bledsoe plus makes Cousins happy and wish granted with Hield but have to take on Chandler's contract. I also like Tucker's toughness off the bench.

Suns trade: #4 pick, Eric Bledsoe, PJ Tucker, Tyson Chandler, and #34 pick
Suns receive: #8 pick, Kevin Love, and Kosta Koufos

Suns get their star in Love. Koufos can start at center, and they can take Chriss at #8 to be a potential future star to pair with Knight and Booker.

Cavs trade: Kevin Love
Cavs receive: Rudy Gay, Marco Belinelli, Ben McLemore, and Caron Butler

Love was disappointment in Cleveland but he got his ring. I think Rudy would be an ideal 3rd wheel behind LeBron and Kyrie. Marco can return to his Spurs form and Ben at one time was LeBron's guy. Caron replaces Richard Jefferson and gives him chance to win another ring closer to his home.

Going into free agency we'd look like this...

PG Eric Bledsoe/Darren Collison/#34 Gary Payton II
SG #4 Buddy Hield/#59 Michael Bryson
SF Omri Casspi/PJ Tucker
PF Willie Cauley-Stein
C DeMarcus Cousins/Tyson Chandler

I'd then target Kent Bazemore and hometown Ryan Anderson in free agency. Also resign our own free agents Seth Curry and Quincy Acy.

2016-17 Roster

PG Eric Bledsoe/Darren Collison/Gary Payton II
SG Buddy Hield/Seth Curry/Michael Bryson
SF Kent Bazemore/Omri Casspi/PJ Tucker
PF Willie Cauley-Stein/Ryan Anderson/Quincy Acy
C DeMarcus Cousins/Tyson Chandler

I believe this roster would be a good blend of offensive and defensive capabilities and we'd be in the playoffs for the opening season in the Golden 1 Center.

There is absolutely no way we could get #4 and Bledsoe for a package of #8, Gay and scrubs

That Kings package probably doesn't even get you #4/salary dump. No way you can add Bledsoe and Tucker.

As for the trade sure sign me up. That's the kind of trade that would turn things around... too bad it will never happen.

The trade really isn't Rudy for Bledsoe. It's Love for Bledsoe but Cavs have no need for Bledsoe already having Irving. What if Bledsoe was changed to Knight. I'd still like Knight/Hield back court. Any ideas to tweak it to make it work?

First in regards to draft not much had changed from my post quit awhile ago about that . We are wanting Dunn or Hield .
We are not expected to move up we will either stay as we are or trade down or out .

Via inside source :
As far as trades or whom has been mentioned via other teams to us as of late & some are more of the same as before .

Pacers : Paul George
Bulls : D.Rose
76ers : Are trying to get our 8th as the Bulls are in deals were we get our future rights back & we move down in the draft to gain our future right back .

More recently :

Hawks are exploring J.Teauge to the Kings I have not heard of exactly what yet I know Mac has been mentioned as likely part of it though .

Bucks heard of a possible Gay & Koufas for Monroe & M.Carter Williams in some kind of deal . Though I personally like Monroe I am not sure it would work with Cousins and WCS . I feel WCS will get and needs as well as deserves more minutes next season and unless we were willing to trade Cousins which I don't think will happen then it would not make a ton of sense to me .
( I do not think it happens just My opinion though )

Celtics are aside from interested in Cousins are showing interest in Gay , Koufas & Benny Mac have explored trading some of their pics in a deal .
Dever , Houston & Pelicans are showing interest in Gay as well .

Marco is getting alot of interest as all solid shooters via NBA are held in high regard .
Koufas , Gay , Mac & Darren are all talked about .

I will not say we will do this or that as of yet for sure but I fully expect we will be pulling off at least 2 trades between now and 5 days after the draft . Their is more chatter this off season than that I had heard of the past two years in regards to our Kings .
This could be just because the cap is rising a lot more or any other reason you can think of but I can say I am getting really anxious myself . Kings will not be major players via free agency unless we grossly over pay players and I do not expect that at all .We will have to trade smartly & or sign whatever free agent scraps that are left over smartly .

Any update on this?

J.Teauge traded to Indy as part of a 3 way deal .

PACERS get Teauge , Jazz get G.Hill , Hawks get the # 12 pick . I have not spoken with my Kings source today . Will likely be speaking with my source soon today though .

To answer your question mlloyd10

Not much both Kings & Bucks have had a lot of trade talks with Boston and it is very possible of a 3 way trade between all 3 teams though I am not saying at this point that is going to happen.

P.S. I believe we will see another trade / trades made today as well .

Hopefully you'd be able to give us an update tonight when you talk to him.

Also with the Gay interest do you think it's possible to get Ariza/Beverly from Houston. Last post said Houston was interested in him.

And have you heard anything on us possibly getting Eric Bledsoe?

I wonder if there's any chance we swap 8 for 12+21 if one of our targets at guard doesn't drop.

If none of the top guards (Dunn, Buddy, Murray) fall and we're left choosing between Chriss and Jaylen Brown, I'd MUCH prefer #8 plus contract filler (DC, Marco?) for Bledsoe and #13 if Phoenix is game. They get a shot to draft a big they are said to be high on in Chriss.

If the Kings ended up with Baldwin and Valentine that would be pretty cool.

Trade Idea Thread 15-16

Post#1054 » by DRK » Wed Jun 22, 2016 9:57 pm

Suns are not salary dumping Bledsoe, and definitely not moving #4 in a package with.
I personally dont think hes worth #8 alone, but thats my personal opinion.

How do you guys feel about Brandon Knight for #8?

I'd have a hard time doing #13 and Knight for #8--let alone Knight alone. Knight is just NOT a good NBA player.

Knight's game is a geared towards as a 6th man ala Jamal Crawford -- the problem is that Knight doesn't see himself as that. He views himself as a legit starting PG in the NBA. Suns fans are already complaining about Knight: http://www.brightsideofthesun.com/2016/4/14/11436528/start-your-engines-phoenix-suns-brandon-knight-not-interested-in-role

Knight lacks PG & leadership abilities to start at the 1. Too short and scrawny to start at the 2 as well.

Knight would be good if we already have a team in place and only needed a scoring punch off the bench. But this isn't the case for us.

I wouldn't give the #8 for Knight.

Would you guys be interested in trading Cauley-Stein and Collison for Kemba Walker?

The Kings had Isaiah Thomas a couple of seasons ago and he didn't fit with Cousins & co. I don't see how inserting Kemba into the Kings be any different. Kemba is a good player but the fit would be off.
