It's absurd that Cecilliani was called up over Pompey. Yes, it would be great to guarantee he plays everyday and I do understand that Gibbons is likely to play Carrera over him but still.

Cecilliani is not a Major league player. He shouldn't even be on the 40-man roster.

Send this guy back down right now. No need to finish the game. I'm sure Goins or Barney can manage right field, the worst position in baseball.

Happ has pitched pretty poorly in this game but everything was going pretty cleanly until that error. I'm blaming Darrell if we lose.

Pompey is showing 7-day DL concussion on the BUF roster. So there is that, but I don't think we would be any worse off bringing up Dwight Smith from New Hampshire. He has been hitting consistently at NH - hit his 5th homer today.

Since the Giants series, Tulo is 21-70 with 5 HR and 13 RBI. He looked better before he went on the DL and he has looked good since he came back too.

Cecilliani looked so good in spring training many of us were all upset that Carrera made the roster ahead of him. Plus I think it's unfair to judge him based on a terrible lefty vs lefty matchup today.

He had a .506 OPS in 39 games last year with the Mets. He's hitting .217 with a .555 OPS in Buffalo. Forgive me if I put more stock in that than useless spring training.

He hit the cover off the ball in the spring and in AAA prior to this season. If you want to focus solely on the stats that make him look bad, so be it, but there's a decent sample that also says he might be a hitter.

Junior Lake and Dominic Brown haven't hit well in AAA either but that's a tough hitters park too. Pompey is hurt plus they might want to save his options. There wasn't a clear OF choice really.

Donaldson out of the game after fouling a ball off his foot. Hopefully just for precautions.

The pen is coming around. Just need Cecil back for another arm.

And for a guy who's not supposed to be that strong defensively, Travis has looked really good this season.

I've noticed a difference in his D for sure. They have been showing him spending a lot of time with Tulo and I believe Scott Macarthur mentioned it as well.

Cecil and their is the potential Morales could be useful as a replacement for Loup....
That's what she said.
