Former MVP, had a down season after coming back from surgery, the kid still has some game left, just when he came back from injury the team wasnt his anymore, it was Butlers. Still had some awesome games and is a definite improvement over Calderon. Lopez wasnt all that and with word that Howard wants to sign with the Knicks, Rose/????/Melo/Porgz/D12 is already looking like a huge improvement. Like i said, i like it.

I think it will end up a wash for both teams. Rose is near the end imo. Dude just cant stay healthy. The Knicks are a treadmill team anyway with current Rose & Melo. The Bulls got a decent return. Lopez is solid. Bottom tier playoff team in the East.

Btw, Howard on that team would be hilarious. Train wreck waiting to happen.

Bulls fans are split...like LARGELY split...just read the first two pages of their thread...people either ecstatic or devastated. One guy said he can't remember a worse day as a Bulls fan.

If they were able to somehow sign Wade to play 2 and bring Kobe out of retirement to play 3, and move Melo to 4 instead of Porzingis, it would very closely resemble your fantasy squad from last year IIRC.

Philly can't move him for a top 5 pick. Hell, even Boston wants Noel over him.

We trade our trash for Philly's trash.

I'd also be down for:

4th to Philly
Knight to Sac
8th and Okafor to us

That deal is perfect :o :o :o

Right?

Philly gets Dunn.

Sac get's their combo guard to pair with Rondo and Boogie - Wildcat reunion.

We get Okafor, and we still have #8 and #13 to possibly grab Chriss/Skal/Sabonis & Brown/Buddy/Murray

I am thinking if Dunn/Murray/Hield all go before the Kings pick at 8 then McD will make something happen. The Suns have been rumored to be after for Gay for years. So Knight/13 for Gay/8. If the 3 guards go and we know that Simmions/Ingram go 1/2. Then that would leave 1 of Brown/Chriss/Bender available at 8. All kinds of possibilities with Knight/Bledsoe and pick swapping.

Now if McD has given up on Bledsoe this is what I think he is attempting. Bledsoe/13 to Pelicans for 6/ contract.
And the draft plays out like this

1 Simmons locked in
2 Ingram locked in
3 Brown visited twice some supposed insider said that he is the pick. Maybe the go Heild for shooting.
4 Dunn I know he has hasn't visited but if he is the pick McD has done his homework.
5 Chriss\Bender
6 Whomever Minny doesn't chose.

I would almost guarantee the Suns go Chriss or Bender with 4 but if they can get The 6 for Bledsoe with his medical history McD may just have to do that and draft Dunn at 4. Two rookies locked into contracts with the exploding cap would nice from a fiscal standpoint.

I haven't seen a trade proposal I like yet. Just draft the players.

No loss on Bobo, it gives him one more year to develop and it gives Archie one last chance to break the rotation.

I'm rooting for Archie, I love love love guys that attack the rim and I love love love guys that play hard. I just hope his attitude is right. A year under Watson and away from Keef might really do wonders for him. Especially if Keef was lighting up blunts and passing them his way.

I wonder if we can work a trade for Bledsoe to the Magic or the Kings. Maybe the Bucks. Magic have a couple young guys I could see us wanting. Kings have their pick this year, and while I'm not sure we'd want a 4th first in this draft, that pick would all but guarantee us one of Chriss, Bender, Skal, Poetl. If we're going ultra young to rebuild, Dunn, Booker, Warren, one of those guys, Len, and Bogdan is a good start.

Work ethic and attitude was NEVER a problem with Archie..

its confidence on his shot that is the issue.... and Hornacek yanking him out after 2-3 minutes on the court... that kills your confidence.

We all saw Archie with confidence... putting up Bledsoe numbers with 35+ minutes.

His altercation with Kief was not his fault.... Kieff was lecturing a guy to TRY harder... when Kieff tanked the first 40 or so games... wouldn't you be frustrated being told off by someone who did that?

Off-season, Archie is always one of the first guys back in the gym working out. And Hornacek has praised his attention to detail during coaching sessions.... not to mention Archie is FIRST guy to high five his team mates during time outs.

He is a back up. Playing short minutes is the job description.

Suns had a terrible record and the coach was still giving Ronnie Price big minutes over developing young players... thats my issue.

Not sure why anyone expected him to come over unless they assumed he wasn't a fan of money.

He's talented but his shot selection sucks... That's the hardest thing to get a player to change. Long 2s not even mixed game IMO

I really like Michael Kidd-Gilchrist (as long as his medicals are ok).

Wonder if Jordan would bite on Brandon Knight and some fringe stuff.

He'd have to be 6th man there too because Kemba is probably the most underrated PG in the league.
