Since it seemed to veer back and forth between Mandarin and English at times, I'm probably missing some of it. But from the English stuff, there were some interesting bits.

That story JLin shared about MJ flying out on a private jet to the west coast to give that speech (with a personal comment to every player about what he wanted them to focus on) was interesting, and how that speech turned the season around and was the inflection point in the win-loss record. Too bad he also said that was the last time MJ went to speak to them at practice

JLin must have really taken losing the playoffs hard. If fans are upset, it must be so much more painful for the players themselves to see their season end after everything they've sacrificed. He was so upset he had to force himself to stay and shake everyone's hands to show good sportsmanship, instead of leaving in the middle of game 7 (probably didn't help that he didn't get much playtime to try to help the team change things around).

What's the symbol on Lin's shirt? I think those Chinese characters were also on the cruise ship that Adidas transformed into a floating basketball court for their JLin event. Is that Adidas in Chinese? Or a slogan of theirs? Or some product line?

I don't think the Teague trade affects Lin's chances of staying too much. Indy and Utah were lower end possibilities.

The NY-CHI trade has more implications. Rose going to the Bulls eliminates a possibility for Conley and Rondo, making the competition for Brooklyn more tough. NYK wasn't really a possibility for Lin anyways.

It still looks like Brooklyn and CHA are the top possibilities. Other options could include CHI or MEM or DAL (who knows what those teams are thinking?).

Lin probably gets 10 mill plus somewhere looking at what's in the buzz. The Hornets won't be the same next season, but still will be exciting and if Marv and Batum are back, that's at least 2 of the big FAs. 3, with the inclusion of Lin, would have been awesome to try to go at it again. But it doesn't look like it is in the cards now.

You're always welcome. I'm hoping a few Lin fans end up as long-time Hornets fans regardless of where he plays going forward.

I like the Charlotte board and the team is terrific. Last year's team was easy to root for and fun. Next year it'll be a year where hopefully a lot of the core is still together, Kemba/Batum/MKG and Marvin hopefully will be there. I don't know about the bench but a Seth Curry type or Bayless should fit in well. Hope Daniels sticks around too.

Well Chicago becomes pretty obvious contenders in the Lin sweepstakes now too.

Perhaps, they got some point guards in that deal but they'll probably want to go with a better choice than Calderon to start. Maybe Bledsoe, I hear he may become available, then of course there's Conley and Rondo and Lin on the market. I think most teams look at Conley and Rondo (if they aren't afraid of his rep) and Bledsoe and then move on from there to Lin.

Wouldn't want to see that. Want to see Kemba grow with this team and be the all-star he was last season or really close to and superstar he's becoming. That guy has heart. I hope Kemba can grow his game into what Wall/Westbrook have done in terms of facilitating. I think it is possible. If Lin stayed, if he was in a 28-30 MPG Ginobili type of role, that would be great. I think his chemistry with Batum and Kemba would grow, I just think a bigger opportunity than what Charlotte can offer will be presented to him. But, he definitely loves Charlotte and the time he spent here, no matter what happens going forward.

Brooklyn because they need a PG, the coach and GM? Cause I don't see much appealing to them player-wise. Chicago has Butler and some other pieces. If he could start there, it's a much better chance of winning. Not so sure if Butler believes much in Hoiberg.

Despite Houston hiring Mike D'Antoni, I can't see Lin going there. Lin knows Harden will be the primary ball handler and will be the unofficial "PG" in Mike D'Antoni's system. Houston also seems pretty happy with Patrick Beverley.

As for the Nets, if they offer Lin a starting PG role, I wonder what Lin will think. After his experience with the Lakers, I thought Lin said he doesn't enjoy playing on losing teams. Are the Nets expected to miss the playoffs next season? If the Nets are projected to be one of the two worst teams in the east, I'm guessing Lin may think twice before joining the Nets (this is probably Charlotte's best selling point to Lin - that they can make the playoffs again).

Very true...Charlotte biggest selling point is that they could make the playoff again, specially with a healthy MKG, but on the other hand, Lin's playing time will surely decrease...

So Lin will have to decide what's more important to him at this point of his career. Is he willing to play a lesser role with less minutes than the previous year in exchange of a chance to go back to the playoff...Or does he prefer to have a much bigger role like a starter with a team that will be predicted to be weaker than Charlotte.

And to be fair, when Lin signed with Charlotte, no one in the mainstream media was really predicting them as a sure-playoff team, so maybe Lin can develope the confidence that he can make his new team a playoff team.

OK, this news makes it sounds like Lin may be a "priority" FA that Cho has in mind. Batum did want many of the same guys back, the main guys are him, Marvin, Lin and possibly Lee. I don't think Al however but Al maybe will take a pay cut.

Bad news is for those that believed in Lamb, obviously the team is showing they want to shop him.
