Oak better then Chriss at 4 imo
Style of play doesn't matter we don't have a true point guard anyway... We need a go to scorer

Cutter wrote:If the Suns trade #4 to Philadelphia for Okafor, is that an overpay on the Suns part? Or, does Philly consider Okafor worth more and would want #4 and another asset? I think Okafor is better than any other player we could draft at 4 and would step in and immediately contribute.

From McD's perspective trading for OK4 solves two problems at once. He could help the Suns move towards getting to the playoffs as he is ready to contribute now. Also, he keeps the Suns moving forward with the youth movement as he is 20 years old. McD keeps his job and gets a contract extension in his final year.

I think Ainge would do a #4 for Oak.

Depends on what other assets they want. If it's just #4, then I think we're getting a steal. If it's #4 and Knight, then it may be an overpay. But I don't mind overpaying if we solve the potential back court crowding issue and the lack of big man talent issue. I'm still not convinced about Len's future.

I would think you would say the same thing about Ingram. That kid needs a sandwich.

Kevin Durant couldn't bench 185 pounds at the combine. When you are THAT long, it's very hard to put on muscle. Easier for a guy like Chriss with the short arms for his size.

why do I get the vibe that this isn't accurate? did anyone hear Gambo say this on the radio?

well.....here goes something

Lets hope some people are correct. There is no doubting he has boom potential and that's all we can ask for at four. <fingers crossed>

Okafor is by far better than anyone at 4 but I don't think McD wants him. So that's probably pretty much that.

I like how an insider is quoting a radio talking/tweeting head as "insider" news. C'mon ginobiliflops.

Agreed but what does Ainge have to do about that trade?

Derp! I meant BC not Ainge.

In our dreams, in our dreams....... I still prefer Bender over Chriss though.

Buddy and Booker on the perimeter with Bledsoe penetrating?.............man.

I'm praying that Chriss goes at 3 . Those rumors of Dunn at 4 would be ideal for me. Either trade Bledsoe or the pick.

Chriss is the only person I have to really convince myself to like. Dunn, Hield, Bender, Brown, and Murray I am just straight cool with. I don't like Chriss lack of length at all. :noway:

I would go Buddy and figure out a way to make it work. it isn't like he an Booker has to come out of the chute playing defense from day one. Steph and Klay didn't come into the league as heralded defenders, now all I hear is how great Klay is. If Booker is 6'7, why can't he slide down to the 3? Dude is a baby, do you know how much thicker he would be at 23-24?

Even when I watch Chriss's strength vids I can't help thinking of him going right down the court and stupid fouling his man.

I'm not sold one bit on Chriss at all. I'm more excited about our yearly 13th pick

Man on this ESPN draft preview these guys LOVE Chriss and love him for the Suns. Of course they mentioned Amare as a comparison.

Return to Phoenix Suns
