I'm going on record and saying the prospects I rate highest that are supposed to be available at 9 are Deyonta Davis and Furkan Korkmaz. We don't know half of the scouting that our front office does. If they found time to converse with Deyonta Davis and liked the personality that came through (that one video is far from enough to judge a person's resilience or character), I bet he is our pick.

I was high on Davis earlier in the process. His interviews definitely affected my opinion of him. If he were drafted, it would mean, like you said, that they were comfortable he does have the drive and work ethic to succeed.

Korkmaz is a darkhorse. Masai could really love him and just be trying to keep him hidden. Teams do try poach guys... looking at you suns.

Notice something about his family? Sometimes all that's needed is a father figure. Interestingly enough both Casey and Ujiri have become known as positive role models.

No way thats true unless they promised Baldwin

Woj answers general Raps question at ~15:30

https://www.facebook.com/TheVerticalWoj/videos/305435529795540/

Name drops Skal, Sabonis, Davis as potential draft options.

Didn't sound like he had anything specific, just the general pulse of the team.

Murray (think they trade with Philly)
Dunn
Hield
Brown
Chriss
Baldwin
Bender :D

I'd prefer to keep Stew and give Monte Morris
I'd really prefer to keep Morris and Stew and give the great Killian Hayes and 2nd round picks

Just watched Sabonis' interview. His agents did a good job coaching him for those interviews  I couldn't count how many times he avoided a direct answer to a question by just saying he 'will / has to work hard'

I am going on the critiques I have read of Davis and while people like some of his skills there seems to be an opinion he plays with his head up his Azs.

Chriss please. ...

So Kings will trade #8 to Suns for Bledsoe to replace Rondo and keep Cousins happy. Who will the Suns take at #8?
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

Man if Chriss or Bender fell I'd be in heaven.

I see two scenarios:

Celtics will either take Jaylen Brown (surprise people a bit)

OR

they trade the pick and Murray is taken.

Either way, bender should fall to us (I hope)

I have a feeling someone in the top 8 is going to fall to us. If no one drops, I think Masai is going to try to trade the pick.

I hope the plan is to draft Davis if nobody falls; one of the few bigs available who can contribute now and yet still has tons of potential to grow.

Capable of playing 4/5 with good size & speed and not a stick figure like Skal.

Wade Baldwin going to Sac Most Likely....Means one of the top 8 will fall to us tomorrow...Wade Baldwin was the only top player to workout there.

Baldwin fills a Need for Sac if they dont make a trade.
