Bass has opted out of his contract as of today... That creates another opening at the F-C position or at least alters cap room strategy if the plan is to bring him back

Getting Ingram makes me want to start young and go with the best young center in fa. Whiteside or Biyombo or bust. Horford, Pau, & Noah are not looking to play with the laker babies

I'm cool with Horford.
I'm eager to see the young guys perform, but in all honesty, I don't think Ingram is fully NBA ready right now. I'm not sure his skinny-ass can take a whole season battling NBA Forwards... So I don't expect a whole lot of him.
And I also think we still lack a star player... Right now we have a lot of very good young talent and Russell has the swag, but I'd be pretty surprised if anyone on our team was an all-star at this point... Randle may actually be the closest if rumors about his Jumpshot developing are true... So we to hope for a FA star player if we want to have a legit core...
Granted, unless we get a Cousins or something, the 5 is not where you want your star power anymore, but I don't mind Horford being mixed in with the young guys.... Noah on the other hand or Pau need to find a contender to help...

A better roster will also motivate him to be a more consistent defender. His potential to have breakout defensive games is why I would want him back. Along with another vet for the kids. (For the cheap only). Horford or Noah would be great starters with our current roster. Imo

Hibbert really has no business being in an NBA rotation imo. Love his effort, leadership, and professionalism, but he has no post skills, no consistent range, no foot speed, no above average rebounding skills. Teams can't afford to have him on the court, he's a liability in all facets of the game.

I would love if the lakers were able to bring him back at a good price. He was the team's best defender last year imo. Now that he'll be out of Scott's iso offense that forced him to try to do more than he's capable of, he should be quite the exceptional role player and veteran.

According to Woj: Charlotte is willing to send out the #22 pick if a team will take on Hawes or Lamb. Hawes would make a decent shooting backup center and I would love Bembry at #22.

Yeah that can also work but I would rather get Lamb than Hawes.
