2016 Draft Thread Part 4

If Boston takes Bender I'm fine with drafting Chriss. But I don't like taking him before Bender.
Bender has much more length and BB IQ. I think he is a better shooter too: 38,5 3pt% vs 35%, 71,9ft% vs 68%. Bender also shoot more 3s while playing half of Marquese's minutes.
Chriss is much better leaper. Probably stronger too.
They have similar offensive potential, Chriss with more dunks, Bender with more passing.
Both have very high defensive potential. Bender must get stronger to not get killed in the post while Chriss must improve his awareness.
Both are bad rebounders for now.
Have no idea who is better at running the floor.
Bender has much more experience. But this could also be seen as Chriss advantage - more room to get better.
Overall I think they have similar, high potential, the question is who have more chance to reach it. Personally I think it's easier for Bender to get stronger than for Chriss to learn all the basketball concepts.

I just cant get over Chriss' rise. Thought he would/should stay in school. Maybe a first rounder. Then a potential lottery pick. Now...4th overall? Unreal. If you had told me, he would be a top 5 pick, I would of laughed you off.

I totally agree. I still think Raab should have stayed in the draft and we would have been set taking him. Seriously love Raabs game and he was the PF of the future that i wanted. Would have been a bonus to nab both him and Brown together and have the Cali Connection here in the Valley.

I still think we will go with another PF @ #13 baring any trades as we do have Bledsoe/Booker/Knight/Goodwin/Jenkins, but if we do trade a guard, i think it will be Murray all the way. With Chriss most likely being our pick, drafting 2 youngsters that are boom/bust guys with high potential AND already having chemistry, its kind of a no brainer.
