It boggles my mind that Brice Johnson is projected to go in the second round. I watched the NCAA tournament and saw only a couple of players who are as good right now. The rest are coasting on "potential." There are some general managers who prefer to draft three or four-year players instead of gambling that a kid will not only continue to develop (unlike Anthony Bennett), but will adjust to the NBA (unlike Okafor), work hard (unlike Terrence Ross), and contribute right away (unlike Noah Vonleh or Lucas Nogueira).

Brice is a superior rebounder. Charlotte was a team that often got beat on the boards, especially in the playoffs. He has a sweet shooting stroke, he can pass, he is athletic and fast. He would be a steal at #22.

Brice is 22 and weighs 209 pounds. That's not going to work in the league.

It is kinda funny that you are saying that Okafor won't adjust to the NBA, given zero evidence to support that. No GM in their right mind would take Brice over Okafor.

I'd like Brice a lot more if he had more lateral quickness and pick and roll defensive awareness. His rebounding and athleticism will keep him in the league for a long time.
