What would it take? The Suns could offer #13.

It better be for at minimum a lottery pick. Thad is a known commodity, produced very well, paired great with Brook last year, and will do anything you ask him. I hope we don't trade him away for anything under a top 10 pick.

Yeah I definitely think people will overpay for in order they move Thad

Getting anything within the 13-23 range is a success for me. I love Thad and following their family through social media but he isn't helping us in the long run.

Isn't this draft a pretty **** one too? Why not try to secure a pick for next year instead?

So confusing... BKN claims Young is part of future and now this leak is out....

I agree that you can't shut the doors on Young nor on Lopez for that matter but very confusing...

What player is out there via draft that makes sense? does Boston want Young? lol... Philly?

This draft has a lot of useful players as in starters or role players. Not many star potential players but it's deep with good players

God bless Thad and his family. I appreciate his effort. Kind of shocked this would leak like this.

I think it's along the lines of either getting a good player and a first rounder or multiple picks. I can't see us trading Thad for one for one. And not get any player back. I'm sure the staff doesn't want to trade him but the situation that teams want to get out of this draft is why we are trying to get in.

I'll still be ok if we don't end up moving him but would like know what kind of calls are being made to us....

plenty of fan possibilities and spin to work with.

I do want Buddy from the lotto outside of top 3 though.... but then again, with the no pick thing, i didn't pay too much attention to the top prospects

Just a curious question.

When talking about fixing Nets, I have this trade idea that I think works out for both teams. Think it should've happened before trade deadline.

Nets Trade: Brook Lopez, Thaddeus Young
Cavs Trade: Kevin Love, Mozgov, MWilliams

Nets: They move 2 lengthy contracts and get a star in Love. Whatever pic they end up getting for TYoung, I'm sure wont ever turn out to be of KLove caliber.
Cavs: They essentially keep a kevin love lite in TYoung and add a post scoring threat in the post - which they definitely need. It really cant be just Lebron & Kyrie trying to create off the dribble every possession. I doubt that works next year.

I'm a bit confused as well

I'm not averse to trading Thad if the return is a vertical step. What shocked me is that this would leak.

Windrem is saying this is more about teams calling the Nets than it is the Nets offering up Young. Either way, Marks has to listen to every offer. Someone might be desperate enough to let us screw them over.

He's either not getting traded at all or they've already committed to letting him go. I doubt they're dangling him out there trying to assess his value. We already know what his value was at the trade deadline since Frank Zanin was taking calls and writing notes for whoever would be the next GM.

Maybe Woj got several reports of teams calling for Thad and reported that Brooklyn seems to be waiting for the highest bidder but in actuality they're just not interested unless teams are giving up more for him.

How about Bledsoe and 13 for Thad, Jack, and Bogie :)

well say we move Thad out, who do we target in FA to play PF? We don't know if C-Mac is ready for a full time starting gig (i think he will become a starter though in due time, kid's too good and works hard).

Maybe we bring back Ryan Anderson???

Would luv to have RA back... never should've left here to begin with.... bloody tanking GM thinking....

The first thought, for me, is Noah... I know he plays C a lot but I can see him and Lopez playing alongside...

RA makes sense for the ability to stretch the field and play more offensive.

Noah for his leadership, size, intensity, rebounding and defensive traits.....

C-Mac will get his... besides, i'm not sure if his position is entirely cemented yet... still looking like a 3/4 tweener
